Between the Harvey Weinstein scandal, the #MeToo movement and the Time's Up campaign, he's right.

But without white men there would be no Hollywood. Everything from Edison inventing the technology, to the silent movies, to Gone With the Wind, to Star Wars it has all been the creation of white men. Get white men out of the process and no one will go to the freaking movies.

There was a very attractive woman on the stage with a very old man earlier. I thought it was Catherine Zeta Jones and Kirk Douglas but not sure.

That's the extent of my "exposure" to Hollyweird over the last 10 years.
A second rate, even third rate comedian from a dismally unfunny Saturday “comedy” show gets to read stuff written for him. How this nondescript “comedian” ever reached the heights that he has is beyond me.

He had some good jokes in there. I was surprised. And less overall Trump bashing than I expected.
This one wasn’t bad:

I admit to being kind of culture shocked in that room, where a year ago Harvey Weinstein was revered like a, (say it Meryl).. And Kevin Spacey also was royalty. Man he was made the ugly butt of many jokes tonight, and I felt some sting there at how far one can fall, though deservedly so. If you didn’t know. BUT SO MANY OF THEM DID.
The most sickening thing is Meryl and Steven Spielberg sitting there. Since I’ve last seen these Hollywood Elites, I’ve learned what a lying hypocrite she is, and how Spielberg is either one of the pinnacle Hollywood pedophiles or one who enabled dozens of them. I want to puke when I see them. The show is still on but Meryl has not won anything yet, please don’t let her. Hope SS doesn’t either.
They all laugh and laugh at the pervs who fell from grace this year, but SOME OF THEM ARE STILL SITTING THERE BEING REVERED. No matter how much black slinky fabric covers these lemming like stars. THEY ARE STILL PROTECTING EVIL.
That was Kirk Douglas. I had the misfortune of watching about fifteen seconds of it when my wife got off the computer to watch a bit of it. Kirk looks like he belongs in a bed with various machines hooked up to him to supply fluids, O2, and remove waste products. What a nasty thing to do to roll him out. The REally BIg EArthquake along the San Andreas can happen now.

Kirk’s over 100 and still likes a bit of the spotlight, I think (heard him call the Dennis Miller radio show a couple of times in recent years). I think if you’re over 100, you can do whatever you please.

As a young man, I enjoyed watching all of the award shows.
The dresses that women wore were of particular interest to me. I think I even watched the Daytime Emmys once!
