Trump book author says his revelations will bring down U.S. president

LONDON (Reuters) - The author of a book that is highly critical of Donald Trump’s first year as U.S. president said his revelations were likely to bring an end to Trump’s time in the White House.

Michael Wolff told BBC radio that his conclusion in “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House”-- that Trump is not fit to do the job -- was becoming a widespread view.

“I think one of the interesting effects of the book so far is a very clear emperor-has-no-clothes effect,” Wolff said in an interview broadcast on Saturday.

“The story that I have told seems to present this presidency in such a way that it says he can’t do his job,” Wolff said.

“Suddenly everywhere people are going ‘oh my God, it’s true, he has no clothes’. That’s the background to the perception and the understanding that will finally end ... this presidency.”

Trump has dismissed the book as full of lies. It depicts a chaotic White House, a president who was ill-prepared to win the office in 2016, and Trump aides who scorned his abilities.

Of course he'd say that:

  1. He's promoting his book. Of course he's going to make it sound important.
  2. He's basically a disgruntled fired former employee, you think he's going to have nice things to say about his former employer? SMH

Basically the book is going to be unfounded, unconfirmed slander. Think of it as supermarket tabloid with better paper & printing.

Pathetic, desperate liberals trying to void the 2016 election by any means possible. Say what they might, the Trump Presidency goes on, conservative policies implemented, regulations voided and good judges appointed. That is why the liberals are so livid.

Yet the President is doing his job, and doing it quite well.

There's a big fat tell. Seems to? As in it really doesn't, but it seems to?

The media would not have as much fun with Pence as President.
_____________
Oh, wolfboy has that covered. *Everyone* thinks Pence is *an empty suit*. There was more, I think, but I didn’t pay close attention. “Too quiet”?? And of course he’s a (shudder) Christian.

Trump resigns, Pence becomes president.
Pence appoints Trump as vice president.
Pence resigns, Trump becomes president.
Trump appoints Pence as vice president.
Every liberal head on the planet explodes.

"What a disgusting worm this Wolff guy is.'

You are being inordinately kind. This type of individual is a Trotskyite malefactor with no redeeming qualities.

“The story that I have told seems”

Doesn’t sound like it should be on the nonfiction aisle.

The author admitted it was libel, at least in part.

That will be ignored by the Mockingbird-MSM, of course.

‘You have an anti Bannon hard on don’t you?’

You’re not helping Bannon by dragging the discussion into the gutter.

Amazing how these people refused to see what bammy was doing to this country. bammy gave the appearance of sanity, but in reality was obsessed with hatred for Whites and Christians.

So, having a book compile the many lies about Trump into one convenient package, instead of disseminating them piecemeal through the MSM, is going to be the magic bullet that brings Trump down.

Meanwhile, Trump’s policies are bringing that economic recovery that the MSM tried to convince us for 8 years was first, right around the corner, and then was a slow recovery. It’s hard to overcome the fact that a few months of sensible economic policy did more for the economy and to improve people’s lives than several years of leftist fantasy policies and screams about racism.

Your analysis explains everything that is happening perfectly. It’s the best explanation that’s been put forth, imo.

He admitted that people he interviewed may have given false accounts. He said he sometimes used these to construct his narrative.

Also many of these quotes were “taken off the record”, meaning that these people wouldn’t support these statements if made public.
