I'm pretty sure that a couple months ago Twitter actually released a statement saying that the Presidential Twitter account was exempt from the Terms of Service because of it's overwhelming news value. (CNN is hardly the first to try to get the account banned).

If the media want to regain any credibility at all, every single reporter needs to honestly ask himself one question before he does anything: How would I proceed with this story/report/book, etc. if Obama was still president?
