Justice Department reopens Hillary Clinton email investigation
Washington Examiner ^ | 01/014/18 | Kelly Cohen

The Department of Justice has caved to pressure from the White House and is reportedly reopening the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

According to the Daily Beast, there is a new effort in the department to get new details on how Clinton and her aides — including former top aide Huma Abedin — handled classified material. The effort will look at how much classified information was on her private email server, and how that information got there.

President Trump has continually questioned if and when the Justice Department would reopen its investigation into Clinton. He tweeted on Dec. 2: “Many people in our Country are asking what the ‘Justice’ Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and ‘acid washed’ 33,000 Emails? No justice!”

Last week, conservative group Judicial Watch won a lawsuit against the State Department and released emails showing that classified information was on the computer of Abedin’s then-husband Anthony Weiner.

The FBI previously investigated and declined to criminally prosecute Clinton for her use of the email server. But Trump and his supporters used the email debacle as a rallying cry throughout the campaign.

The findings from a separate Justice Department’s inspector general probe into how the FBI handled the email use is expected to be released sometime this spring.

Thanks so much for that! I was thinking I remembered Mills being involved with ordering Combetta to do that, but couldn’t quite remember so didn’t mention it.

That’s a good start. We all know that, even if convicted, she’ll never serve a day in jumpsuit orange. My hope is that the punishment will end up with the millions in the Clinton Foundation (and all of the Clinton’s hidden money) will be confiscated. I want to see all of them utterly ruined - financially and spiritually. Exile would be a nice touch. A first-hand look at what living in poverty in Haiti would be a just punishment.

Wouldn’t lying during testimony nullify immunity?

Absolutely, once the DOJ OIG report is out and shows FBI malfeasance, all those immunity arrangements should be revoked.

Sessions had Comey’s report that she was “excessively careless” that alone was prosecutable and he could have indicted her 10 months ago and should be in prison now. Not complicated. Having an unauthorized file server in your bathroom cannot be dismissed and blamed on subordinates.

The foundation and uranium are complicated but he has done nothing for ten months. Of course it’s complicated, that’s his f—kin job.

What is to investigate further? The information is all there, but it is hidden away in file cabinets and encrypted computer entries, which were never meant to see the light of day again, or at least within the lifetime of anyone now over the age of twenty.

Perhaps the further investigation should be into WHY all the data collected was kept hidden.

You would think this was the inquest into the Kennedy assassination or something, where the real conspiracies were buried so deeply they were not supposed to be made public until 75 years after the Warren Commission completed its work.

I so agree. When Wikileaks posted the big haul of emails I spent hours just reading through them. Even as a lay person who’s background is in public relations and not law, I could easily see the pattern of corruption between the Clinton Foundation and the State Department.

If Doug Band ever rolls...

They must have enough ‘evidence’ already. It really cant be more than someone having the balls to make the indictment decision.

“Was Session’s waiting to get some of the Dead #DeepState wood cleaned out of the shed before restarting this”?

That’s a good question and good thinking.

Sessions will screw this up. He is useless if Trump is to remain President. Sessions is mentally ill.

Here’s where that falls apart.
One has to believe that ANY agreement with Illary, Mills and Abeden included the recovery of ALL classified documents and devices containing or used in the transmission of them.

Remember that was in the Spring/Early Summer of 16, then Comey has his famous Press conference.

Then in Aug/Sept. up pops a Laptop in Weiner’s possession containing classified documents.

Huma is the one that is going to either Roll or be flattened. I say she rolls otherwise she goes to club Fed while the Talibaners raise her little Weiner.

“The findings from a separate Justice Department’s inspector general probe into how the FBI handled the email use is expected to be released sometime this spring.”

So we sit here and wait for this d!ckhead Horowitz(an Obola appointee) to “finish his investigation,” and we are most likely treated to yet another whitewash, for waiting until “spring, all the while we are being told that Horowitz, Mueller, Rosen$hitball, Wray & Co. are all stellar individuals, intent upon getting to the "truth" for the sake of the country! The whole effing Federal Government is “slow walking” all of these investigations with the hope that Trump will be gone before he wakes up to the fact that they are blowing smoke up his a$$!
It's just yesterday where Nunes got yet another promise to cooperate, instead of the DOJ/FBI actually meeting his deadline. Another example of “slow walking.” These bastards will take a day, an hour, a few minutes, any time they can if it causes even a minuscule delay of the game.
