Justice Department reopens Hillary Clinton email investigation
Washington Examiner ^ | 01/014/18 | Kelly Cohen

Posted on 01/04/2018 9:06:02 AM PST by Bodleian_Girl

The Department of Justice has caved to pressure from the White House and is reportedly reopening the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

According to the Daily Beast, there is a new effort in the department to get new details on how Clinton and her aides — including former top aide Huma Abedin — handled classified material. The effort will look at how much classified information was on her private email server, and how that information got there.

President Trump has continually questioned if and when the Justice Department would reopen its investigation into Clinton. He tweeted on Dec. 2: “Many people in our Country are asking what the ‘Justice’ Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and ‘acid washed’ 33,000 Emails? No justice!”

Last week, conservative group Judicial Watch won a lawsuit against the State Department and released emails showing that classified information was on the computer of Abedin’s then-husband Anthony Weiner.

The FBI previously investigated and declined to criminally prosecute Clinton for her use of the email server. But Trump and his supporters used the email debacle as a rallying cry throughout the campaign.

The findings from a separate Justice Department’s inspector general probe into how the FBI handled the email use is expected to be released sometime this spring.

Starting to wonder if all the Bannon/Trump drama was cover for something.

Somewhere in the Bible, (I saw it once but did not write it down), it talks about God having something hidden in his sleeve. When I think of my past discovery I think of Donald Trump.

This is great. I’m wondering how long this investigation will take?

It would seem that a lot of the work has already been done in previous investigations. Many of the facts are already known & public. Although Comey’s exoneration was a sham, wasn’t the work already done? Will they need spend years re-doing the same work?

Will we need to wait years to find all of the thousands of missing e-mails, or can we put her & Huma away for the confidential e-mails they recently found on Weiner’s computer? Can’t we lock her up on these & the other already known crimes while they investigate the others?

Or will this investigation end in a report of recommendations for further investigations?

The jury is still out from where I stand.

When the first indictments naming Hillary Clinton, Barack Hussein Obama, Loretta Lynch, Susan Rice, Samantha Power, et al are released to the public, then I will start having faith in the system.

Great article by Andrew McCarthy, if you haven’t seen it already. There is PLENTY of heat they can put on the Platte River Networks tech, Paul Combetta, who deleted & used Bleach Bit after subpoena .... and just by coinky-dink, (drum roll, please ...) PRN logs indicate that Combetta deleted emails and installed BleachBit on March 31. On that same day, Combetta had a conference call with Mills and Kendall. (FBI Clinton File, Part 3, pp. 18–19.)

Justice Department reopens Hillary Clinton email investigation

That is good news. Hopefully they won't put any Hillary sycophants on the investigating team, but given the contributions from the DOJ of which we recently learned, they are probably going to have a difficult time finding any agents that aren't Hillary Sycophants.

It seems to me that any so-called “immunity agreements” became null and void with the change in administrations. Especially since NO arrests, indictments, trials or convictions have happened.

Just consider the fact that the private email server set up was used to avoid oversight into Clinton’s pay to play schemes during her tenure as Sec of State.

Sara Carter said yesterday on Hannity’s radio program that Uranium One will be the biggest news story of 2018 because there is so much yet to be revealed.

Message to creepers. you can't run an investigation in Washington without the public finding out so stop trying to cover for sessions and trump on this issue.

I'm perfectly happy with Trump and Sessions job performance. Prosecuting Hillary is complicated because her aides commited the crimes to cover for her (e.g. deleting portion markings, typing classified into open email). That way she could just say she thought it was all unclassified. Comey gave all of them immunity so we have no legal leverage to get them to testify against Clinton. Her urging for them to "turn into nonpaper w no identifying heading and send nonsecure" meant (in her words) a demarche. It's pretty obvious to see she encouraged gross negligence, but she pleaded that down to extreme carelessness, a non-crime. There are no magic silver bullets, legally speaking.

There’s actually two roads connected by a tunnel. The 2nd road is Obama.

The mere existence of her private server with gov’t communications on it should be enough to have her hanged several times over. It would be for anyone else.

Think of the spies from the past who are locked up for life. Like Hanssen. He had his hands on secrets he passed on to the Russians. Got paid for his effort. Gets caught and is now in a Super-Max.

Think of Hillary who had on her hands secrets she allowed to get passed on to others. Got paid for her effort and all the money ended up in her Foundation and for her failed run for president.

Super-Max. Super-Max.
