False, none of the parties have a way to stop a week-long barrage of projectiles onto Seoul, biological and chemical, except by carpet-bombing with nuclear, which would in itself harm Seoul due to the proximity.
I think you may be right. But a week?
If this story isn’t fake, then the Chinese are preparing by closing the main bridge from China to NOKOand and by building refugee camps along the border.
You forgot to mention the U.S. State Department, but Trump is working on that.
Chi-Coms need America to continue to be their market place.
IF the Donald told them we will stop purchasing any of their crap until and unless they STOP enabling the NORKs. in any way.
The Chi-coms would stop their attack dog.
Not too sure any of the crap they send here is really necessary.
yup, months and months of images of the poor children, families, mothers all while calling Trump and evil racist warmonger and calling for his impeachment due to the terrible crime against humanity.
Just gonna have to let NK hit Californication with a nuke. If a lot of poor ‘undocumented’ children and leftist actors get hit, maybe he left will be ok with hitting NK.
That, of course, is the question for threads such as this, especially since the problem could ultimately affect each of us.
It does seem possible the best solution, insofar as it minimizes the level of potential damage, is for the U.S. to encourage China to occupy and stabilize NK. That action would be preceded by covert measures, perhaps necessarily coordinated by the U.S. and China, that effectively neutralized NK's war-making capabilities.
It is clear we view China as a valuable trading partner the sudden loss of which could have an immediate negative impact on our economy. Why not join with them in such a housekeeping venture?
If Trump attacks NK, it will probably cause the GOP to be swept out of office again like the 2006 election backlash against the Iraq war. Neocon wars are still popular with many older Freepers, but in the rest of society, that kind of foreign policy is less popular than ever.
