It's not just the United States that could soon see itself engaged in a deadly conflict with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. China is also at risk of an imminent war with North Korea, warned some of China's most prestigious national security experts at a conference in Beijing this week.
“Conditions on the peninsula now make for the biggest risk of a war in decades,” said Shi Yinhong, director of the Center on American Studies at Renmin University of China in Beijing and an adviser to the State Council of China on diplomacy issues since February 2011, during the conference. “North Korea is a time bomb. We can only delay the explosion, hoping that by delaying it, a time will come to remove the detonator,” he added, reported the South China Morning Post Saturday.

China is more likely to go to war with the USA than North Korea.
Yeah, there may be nasty diplomatic words going back and forth now but when the chips are down and some outside influence starts rattling sabers then they come together to cast out the external influence.
Why don’t China and South Korea divvy up North Korea?

That’s the bottom line and the key issue. It is paramount for the USA to have a united Korea with the model of South Korea and bloodless as East and West Germany uniting. If it takes war, so be it. The nukes and Fat Boy’s regime needs to go along with China’s ambitions.
I “buy” this could happen. If you were XI sitting there with North Korea off your coast ... rattling nukes and literally starving and destroying his people turning N Korea into a ghetto ... wouldn’t you want to get rid of it. People don’t like “garbage” in their back yard. Seems he would want to clean out the ghetto and have something “next door” that could become productive and not dangerous. I’m surprised China would ever support such a ghetto ... that isn’t their culture.
