‘Conflicts Upon Conflicts Upon Conflicts of Interest’ in FBI Investigations of Trump and Clinton
breitbart ^ | 16 Dec 2017 | John Hayward

Posted on 12/16/2017 3:33:07 PM PST by dennisw

Peter Schweizer talked during his appearance on Friday’s Breitbart News Tonight with SiriusXM hosts Rebecca Mansour and John Carney about the discovery of politically charged text messages between Peter Strzok, an FBI official involved in both the Trump and Clinton investigations, and his mistress.

“This is, I think, a huge problem with bureaucrats in Washington, DC. I would point people to a book that was written just a couple of years ago by two Johns Hopkins University scholars, called What Washington Gets Wrong. They did a survey of precisely people like Peter Strzok, thousands of people who are senior government officials, and they asked them their attitudes towards all kinds of things. One of the things that stands out is, the vast majority of people in those positions they surveyed have basically contempt for the average American. They also believe in shocking numbers that if the American people want a constitutional course of action that they as bureaucrats don’t agree with, that they feel justified in trying to stop it,” Schweizer related.

He said the text message of greatest concern was part of a conversation between Strzok and the woman with whom he was having an extramarital affair, in which they talked about developing an “insurance policy” in the event Donald Trump won the 2016 election.

“They never sort of spell out what the insurance policy is, but it’s kind of implied in the context of the communication and what’s going on at the time, which is this FBI investigation,” he observed.

These Federally employed subversives need some prison time to sober them up and to sober up the leftist-communist bureaucracy in the greater Washington DC region. People like Lois Lerner and unmaskers like Susan Rice and a dozen deep swamp FBI apparatchiks.

Nothing new here! I saw that when I did a tour at the "Swamp" back in the 80's! If you really wanted a frank assessment of problems and workable solutions you had to bring in selected field staff on TDY assignments! The more the Guv'ment grows centralized, the less it accomplishes anything good!

Mueller is grasping at straws. The jig is up. What will the rats do ahead of the release of the IG report? Prosecute the son of Donald Trump for being the son of Donald Trump?

This is why we have always wanted a small, weak federal government. The left has to a large degree succeeded in a marketing plan that the people who want limited federal government do so because they want to institute racist/sexist/mysogynistic policies. The current atmosphere is an opportunity for limited government conservatives to make our case. The current bureaucratic behemoth is abusive, arrogant, corrupt, and impossible to keep in check. Many federal agencies are in active contempt of congress, and it is too large for congress to maintain oversight of anyway.

Rush says the IG report will blow Mueller out of the water

I think Rush is right on this one. MUeller has to be aware of what is going on (at least have a hint). Is Sessions kept up to date with what’s being found?

Time will tell on that. If true, I wonder what Mueller does in the interim? Animals that are caged tend to focus intently on getting free. What kind of damage will he try to do the Trump on his way down. They've gone far afield in gathering data by any means. Leaking Trump's tax returns, bank records; who knows what.

It very well may. One problem is that the IG is just another one of a zillion agencies. The media is free to ignore it, or refute it while ignoring other criminal allegations as they have done for the last many years. It is time to take the heat up a notch. We want small, limited government. We don’t want to be in a position where the Sec of State can raise billions of dollars, can destroy evidence under subpoena by congress, where the FBI can ignore congress and congress cannot do anything about it because it needs the FBI to enforce its will! We don’t want to be in a position where everyone is so tainted that we have to hire an independent counsel and turns out we can’t even find one who is actually independent.

Sorry, I’m on a rant. I hope the IG report gives us something big and useful.

Another big question is :

Is Rosenweasel in on updates of the “progress” of the IQ (or on a info internal leak path)?

IG, my bad.

Yeah, bigly a rhetorical question.

As the IG is alleged to have 450 Very Special Agents at his beck(on) and call and Rosenweasel is a very long term employee, it’s very difficult to see where Rosenweasel is not getting some good scuttlebutt that he can then pass on to his real boss, Weasel Mueller.
