George Orwell would have been the first to admit that by controlling language you can control people's attitudes. The government has been doing that for years with code phrases like "Abortion" (also known as ending the life of a baby) and "Earned Income Tax Credit" (also known as welfare).
But now liberals are getting upset that President Trump is ripping several pages from their new-speak lexicon. The Trump administration is prohibiting officials at the nations top public health agency from using a list of seven words or phrases including fetus and transgender in any official documents being prepared for next years budget.
Policy analysts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta were told of the list of forbidden words at a meeting Thursday with senior CDC officials who oversee the budget, according to an analyst who took part in the 90-minute briefing. The forbidden words are vulnerable, entitlement, diversity, transgender, fetus, evidence-based and science-based.
....certain words in the CDCs budget drafts were being sent back to the agency for correction. Three words that had been flagged in these drafts were vulnerable, entitlement and diversity. Let's look at these words one at a time.
..."Diversity": Diversity is a code word for ethnic cleansing of heterosexual, white men. The opposite of "diversity" - "gentrification" - is considered a bad thing, because while "diverse" ethnic cleansing is considered positive, the opposite, putting too much cream in the coffee, so to speak, is not. What can replace "diversity"? How about "banishment of white men"? It's wordy, but again, it's accurate.

What exactly does “CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes” mean anyway?
Didn’t the great 0 have words the government could not use, like “muslim terrorist”, etc.?
“Fetus”: This one confuses me. Liberals actually want to deny the existence of fetuses, so I am not sure what trouble Trump has with this word.”
from dictionary —
fetus: an unborn offspring of a mammal, in particular an unborn human baby more than eight weeks after conception.
May be objectionable because it groups, and dismisses, a human embryo in same class with animals.
My all time favorite:
“Individual Shared Responsibility Payment” (aka “tax”)
If they can’t say “transgender,” what word are they going to use to refer to people who believe they are the opposite sex, present themselves as the opposite sex, or undergo medical interventions to appear more like the opposite sex?
Indeed and it is past time that officials and whites start addressing it as such.
No need for confusion. It is better to say a "woman is with child" rather than "the non-gender it is growing a fetus inside of it".
A child is a human.
>>What exactly does CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes mean anyway?<<
“The CDC is a 100% liberal political organization and bases its recommendations accordingly”
I love this move. Needs to happen in every PC agency.
“When science disagrees with leftist ideology, we go with the leftist ideology.”
>>If they cant say transgender, what word are they going to use to refer to people who believe they are the opposite sex, present themselves as the opposite sex, or undergo medical interventions to appear more like the opposite sex?
Psychotic.
That’s not specific to the case. It’s no use saying “crazy” or “mentally ill” if you want to refer specifically to depression, rather than schizophrenia, for example.
“Genital mutilation”
“Eunuch”
“Male”/”Female” (regardless of damage done to defining organs)
It’s because the pro-abortion crowd has changed the definition of the word fetus. Reasonable people know it means baby, and in most contexts, the live human baby who is yet unborn. The abortion crowd has changed it to mean unviable blob of pre-human tissue or some such nonsense.
By banning the word in official government texts, the Trump Administration is forcing a return to true word usage and away from obfuscation. Same with the rest of them.
gender dysphoria?
Gender dysphoria works. It defines a mental disorder
Which is why I use the term "pre-born" instead of "unborn" and when referring to the Democrat's twice failed presidential candidate I refer to her as "Mrs. Bill Clinton", not the affectionate term "Hillary".
I request everyone do the same.
Genetic male if the person has xy chromos.
Genetic female if xx Chrome’s.
