Folks, I know there’s been a lot of angst over the failure of Sessions & the current admin to get after this issue. I do believe we are now witnessing a slow, steady unraveling of the Special counsel investigation and Obama FBI/DOJ, without any intervention by Trump, Sessions or Chris Wray. I believe, if Trump, Sessions or Wray jump in to pull the curtain on this, that becomes the story.
Patience.......
Too late. Trump’s tirade yesterday in the White House lawn (see my new tagline) and his lawyer’s interview yesterday on Hannity show that the President sees there’s enough info out now for him to finally go on the offense and start pulling the trigger, possibly on Sessions himself.

I absolutely agree and this is my thinking too. This is exactly what is going on. The special counsel will be dismantled fairly soon IMO.
Also - Sessions and Wray could very well be advising this on the down low. If they were to be out in the open it would endanger the behind the scenes operation. Why would Wray and Sessions be announcing their strategy? (rhetorical question). That would make no sense at all.

This may be the Curtain Pulling start!
A lawyer for the Trump presidential transition team is accusing Special Counsel Robert Muellers office of inappropriately obtaining transition documents as part of its Russia probe, including confidential attorney-client communications and privileged communications.
In a letter obtained by Fox News and sent to House and Senate committees on Saturday, the transition teams attorney alleges unlawful conduct by the career staff at the General Services Administration in handing over transition documents to the special counsels office.
Officials familiar with the case argue Mueller could have a problem relating to the 4th Amendment which protects against unreasonable searches and seizures.
Kory Langhofer, the counsel to Trump for America, wrote in the letter that the the GSA did not own or control the records in question.
But, Langhofer says, Muellers team has extensively used the materials in question, including portions that are susceptible to claims of privilege.
Trump for America is the nonprofit organization that facilitated the transition between former President Barack Obama to President Trump.
The GSA, an agency of the United States government, provided the transition team with office space and hosted its email servers.
The special counsels office did not immediately return a request for comment Saturday.
