We have some freepers pushing this line quite strongly. Personally, I don’t believe it, and won’t until there is some actual evidence. To date, it hasn’t emerged.

This article pretty much captures what I hope is going on behind the scenes at DOJ. I don’t have a lot of evidence that this is truly the case, but there are some indicators:
There is no compelling or valid reason why Sessions would recuse himself from the so-called Russian investigation. He may seem a bit bumbling, but Sessions is no fool and he was the very first establishment Republican to endorse and stand by Trump throughout the campaign. There’s a possibility, albeit remote, that Sessions is a Trojan Horse like some of the other original appointees, but there’s never been the slightest hint that Sessions is conniving, deceitful or even a puppet of McConnell and the Republican establishment. He is, however, more than happy to play the “Good Ole Boy” act very, very well.
There have been rumors of a DOJ OIG investigation into some very interesting things, i.e., Hillary, Rosatom, Uranium 1, etc., for months and somebody is leaking things like the texts between Strzok and Page and there’s only one way those could have been obtained - through a subpoena.

I’m not sure why this is so hard to understand... Think about what is coming out now. Compare to what came out on Manafort, Flynn etc. Everyday there is more and more and it is downright disgusti g. The absolute grilling of Rosenstein was glorious. Also Rosenstein deferred to the IG and every indicator says far worse news is on the way.
Nothing wrong with folks bashing Sessions, RR, or Mueller but at least realize there signs this thing will flip on it’s head. So I would say bash if you must but hold back 25% of your absolutism in favor of man I hope we are all hoodwinked
I should have added, “unless one of the parties to the texts released them himself/herself,” but I think that’s pretty unlikely.
Those texts could also be obtained through discovery, but we’re not there...YET.
