Conventional wisdom is that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is asleep at the wheel – from recusing himself unnecessarily from the Trump-Russia collusion investigation to doing nothing about the politicization and weaponization of the Department of Justice. He also gave free rein to his deputy A.G., Rod Rosenstein, who is in turn allowing Special Counsel Robert Mueller unlimited time, money, and jurisdiction to investigate President Trump's entire life.
Last summer, Trump expressed disappointment in Sessions, calling him "beleaguered," wondering why Sessions wasn't looking into Hillary Clinton's emails and true election chicanery. Rudy Giuliani was floated as a possible replacement. Was Trump truly upset, or was this a calculated head fake?

Per some reports I’ve seen, he was officially briefed on the Uranium One scandal prior to the sale, and did nothing, for some reason, which could be at least one of the skeletons he doesn’t want dug up.
Time has already told. The damage that POS rat bastard did by enabling a special counsel to investigate Trump is incalculable. He farked President Trump, his supporters, and the future survival of this country.
The Mueller investigation seems to be unwinding and the FBI is being revealed. Perhaps Sleepy is actually doing something without tainting the jury? Who knows?
Hillary has the goods (of some sort).

All anure to the benefit of hillary. The loyalty to her defies logic. She is not a likable person, yet she is accorded loyalty. Money, sex, power, fear. I think fear is the motivator for their 'loyalty'. So many people surrounding the clinton campaign have died. I think she has collected data on these people and threatens either to have them exposed or have them or a loved on killed. I do not see any other motivator. She has something on Sessions.
It’s possible. I have heard Sessions say that he’s against special counsels in general, and wants to try to fix the system using the tools in the constitution.

Reported by a few at Fox-that’s about it. Mueller & the FBI have the backing of both parties, the corrupt state, and the fakestream media. So who is going to stop them?

This whole fiasco is reminding me of the guy who was afraid to fly and found the ‘famed’ bottle on the shore and a genie jumped out-offering ANYTHING for its freedom- so the guy asked about building a bridge to Hawaii.
Genie started by explaining how it would be impossible as you would never get the footings right, the logistics would be hard to get together, and the cost would be astronomical.

Yes can you explain-in laymans language- the GOPe and Never Trumpers and why they are acting this way? After all we have the Presidency, House, Senate and Supreme Court - Why can’t WE get anything done?

That’s my problem with hoping he’s quietly building the ‘killer case’. So many two-faced players in all this, so much subterfuge. Some here suggest Mueller is actually working for Trump. What to think...
What if President Trump, having appointed Sessions, is happy with the way his subordinate is handling things, and would remove him if he were not?
As I see it, the problem with making Sessions into a zombie or a villain is that it assumes Trump is incompetent or otherwise not in control of his own appointees, whom he can (to reiterate) remove at any time for any reason.

Knowing how Trump is, he doesn’t keep dead wood around. I feel something is going on and it’s not showing it’s hand. Trump and company will let this play out. For instance if this investigation had been shut down at the beginning ( just look how much we learned in the past few weeks), we never would have found any of this out. Perhaps we are being impatient?
Trump is in between a rock and a hard place...Or a pet rock and impeachment proceedings if he fires Sessions.
The swamp just needs an excuse.
I say damn the impeachment torpedoes and gut the entire DOJ. If the capons in congress go for impeachment, call in the marines.
