That is the sovereign air space of Syria. Russia is an invitee and we are in violation of international law because we have not been invited there. We have no right whatsoever being there. Isis is now gone. We need to vacate unless we are invited to be there by the Syrian government.

The Russian fighters probably didn’t see the Raptors. Maybe a couple of seagulls.

Nope. We are there under no bona fide auspices what so ever. We are violating the basic tenants of international law. Would you be at peace if China declared California a “deconfliction zone “ and shot down our air craft? That would be fine? Syria is a sovereign Nation that has successfully retaken its country from ISIS and the Kurds and a hand full of insugents promoted by Jonn McCain. We have no business in other people country unless they have attacked us. There is not a vestige of attack on this country by the Syrians. Just remember that the standards we set for illegal invasion shall apply to this countries invasions!!

Allies that are there illegally. We have basically invaded without the slightest legality.
Basically the entire Syrian civil war was a farce that we cooked up to remove Assad for some bizarre reason only a neocon could understand.
Isis got out of hand and embarrassed us so we had to back them down. Thank God Russia saved Assad or Syria would be an ISIS state today. Oops... i mean a moderate rebel state.

Yes. Sounds like double speak to me. Do we have "restricted air space over Syria?"
Why?

Exactly. International law is whatever we say it is. There was no UN authorization of force, etc. We just jumped in.
But since you don’t care about international law, maybe you’ll care about NATIONAL law. We have no war powers act notification, no congressional authorization for military force save one, and that limited to a response against Assad if Assad used chemical weapons. The next day we got an amateurish rebel “chemical attack”.
But this is far outside US law.
