A robot patrolling a street in San Francisco to ward off homeless people has been removed after complaints from locals, who also knocked it over and smeared it with feces.

The Knightscope K5 security robot was deployed by the San Francisco branch of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) to deter homeless people from sleeping and loitering near its building.

Somebody smeared feces on the robot? Presumably human feces???? OMG.........

Animals are so much worse than humans.

“Highlights the need for a SPCR.”

Or a NAARP.

What if, like me, the robot begins to identify as an attack helicopter?

I’d try my hand at that model kit.

The wagon had way more character though.

The SPCA should take a proactive approach and set up a gallery for "adopt-a-homeless" that people could sponsor. Or they could hire actual security guards. Or, they could just STFU and live with the army of homeless that have infested SF for decades on end. Thanks LouieFisk.

I found a kit on Ebay and have a watch on it just for run.

If it doesn’t get too crazy, who knows?

I’d prefer the Paddy Wagon.

Anyway I’ve been watching season 4. The quality isn’t that great but the episodes are still pretty good.

One has Richard Basehart really tripping out. That is priceless.
