I think that is the past. Ohe thing I’ve noticed is that a few years ago, billion became the new million. And already, trillion has become the new million. The financial crisis in government (and it’s not just the US) is exponentially worsening. This sort of thing does have a hard end. It doesn’t just go on forever.

I think that is why robroy’swoman quoted Patrick Henry re: Give me liberty or give me death.
Remember, Henry’s words just before that phrase referenced chains and slavery.
