Alabama Republicans made their choice, as is their right. But I am convinced ANY other member of the Republican Party in Alabama could have won this race.

If Luther Strange was the guy to run in this election, they should have just left him there as originally planned and never held the special election at all. I don't know who was more inept here ... Gov. Kay Ivey, for overturning the original decision to have Strange serve out the remainder of Sessions' term, or Roy Moore, for running such an awful campaign.
