I think we have to lower our expectations of the Trump presidency somewhat. He isn’t going to get much at all in long term change (beyond his presidency). We will not get a better immigration system through Congress, which is more come-one, come-all open borders now than it was before today. It was bad already but now the Swamp is deeper, darker and more entrenched than it was before.
We can make some gains still on economy...but even the GOPe went for tax cuts. That’s about the limit on what he can accomplish domestically. And I think we need to expect that. The culture issues, the climate change hoax and the immigration problems...and even the courts...will get no better looking forward than they are today.
