I just remember before 2005, Chris Matthews was on my list of shows we never missed. Great discussions and he wasn't crazy and disrespectful of republicans and conservatives.

He would mention his father (and brother) now and then with love in his voice.

I think the Clintons came to town, his father died, and his wife ran for office, and he lost his grounding. Now, he even hates God.
