Dem Sen Durbin: Franken Leaving Should ‘Establish a National Standard’ For Roy Moore
Breitbart ^ | 10 Dec 2017 | Pam Key

Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) said Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) leaving the U.S. Senate should “establish a national standard” on how the Senate deals with Alabama GOP Senate hopeful Roy Moore if he wins.

Partial transcript as follows:

DICKERSON: Joining us now is Senate Democratic Whip Richard Durbin. He is in Springfield, Illinois. Welcome, senator. I want to pick up on something that Senator Collins said about the choice that senators may face if Roy Moore is elected in Alabama. And the question is: What business does the Senate have in overturning the will of the people of Alabama if he is elected? Senator Collins said that’s a very tough decision. What’s your sense of it?

DURBIN: Well, John, I can tell you this. First, the decision is to be made by the voters in Alabama on Tuesday. And I hope that they will do the right thing in terms of defining their standards and values when it comes to people representing them in Washington. But we have heard from Republican senators first who have suggested that if Roy Moore ends up being elected to the Senate, he would face close scrutiny, investigation, even removal from the Senate once he arrives.

Franken will never step down. He is scum. He will go to the Weiner sex clinic in Arizona for 30 days and be cured. Mark it. He stays.

I have it on reliable sources that Durbin raped an aide that worked for him back in 1984. I think he should resign.

Durbin thinks the Congress is like Illinois where the politicians pick their constituents, or in this case, the Senate insiders pick who is ‘worthy’ to be in the Senate, and nullify the elections.

IOW Turbin Durbin thinks the establishment can use an accusation to keep out the riff raff from their private club.

Agree with Durbin here. Produce a photo of Roy Moore copping a feel on one of his accusers and I’ll call for him to step down.

Franken did his deeds WHILE a US Senator. There is photographic evidence. He was a pervert. Franken’s accusers have nothing to gain from false accusations.

Moore was looking for a woman to marry. Supposed evidence was forged. A famous, big-name lawyer was in on the forgery. He was NOT in the US Senate when the alleged actions happened. Moore’s accusers stand to gain from false accusations.

And, as many have pointed out, he IS NOT going to go anywhere regardless of the election outcome. It’s all play acting arranged with the Dem “leadership.”

Besides, what other career could Franken ever have? Go back to “comedy”? Would K Street lobbyists seek him out as a senior, accomplished Senator with a deep Rolodex? Ha ha!

Durbin is definitely a pervert of some kind. I hope we find out what kind in the near future. My guess is little boys.

Big Dick Turban is looking awful these days. His inherent evil is starting to show on his never-smiling, grim face.

He is turning into The Picture of Dorian Gray, an increasingly withered, tortured face reflecting an amoral soul.

There is a photo of Franken, and Conyers used taypayer money for hush money.

Exactly what is this national standard that Durbin is asking for?

Franken, if he doesn’t pull a Brett Favre, will be replaced by another democrat, at least initially.

If this was Bill Nelson in Florida with a GOP Governor there is NO WAY IN HOLY HELL he would be resigning. But Turban expects us to just hand him a Senate seat.

Conyers seat is safe. Swing seat Nevada rat Ruben Kihuen is staying put.
