But the most amazing performance at those Olympics was Eric Heiden. Still probably the most dominant performance by any Olympic athlete, Winter or Summer.
Imagine a runner winning the 100 meters, 200 meters, 440 meters, 880 meters, and the 10,000 meters. Well that’s pretty much what Eric did in Speed Skating.

So far ...... healthier , wealthier and wiser. Really good hunting season finished. Freezers filled with venison, fish and fowl. Working on my woodpile, only a few cords...like to have at least 8 to keep the heaters from kicking on.
Then going full blast on getting my old “Casa’tastrophie” home updated, repaired where needed.
I have time to finally finish it if old age and the good lord allows .....
