Brailsford orders Shaver, 26, to lay face-down in a hallway and refrain from making sudden movements - or risk being shot. He also orders a woman in the hallway to lie on the ground. Shaver is seen complying with the officer's order to put his hands on top of his head and cross his left foot over his right foot.
"Young man, you are not to move. You are to put your eyes down look down at the carpet you are to keep your fingers interlaced behind your head you are to keep your feet crossed," Brailsford says. "If you move, we are going to consider that a threat, and we are going to deal with it and you may not survive it, do you understand me?"
"Yes sir," Shaver says.
Brailsford then orders the woman to kneel, put her hands in the air and crawl towards officers. Officers then apparently handcuff her out of the view of the camera.

My Father was a real Cop in the fifties in New York, he said the worst thing that ever happened to the NYPD was the Militarization of the police force after WW2, and its gotten 50x worse now. He said these Militarized cops thought of Everyone as the enemy. As a Lieutenant, he said he’d rather train truck drivers to be cops.
He reached back with his right hand, I believe to hike up his pants as they were likely being pulled down as he crawled on the floor.

That is unbelievable! What a mess of a trial. What a mess of a strategy the cop used. Don't they drill these guys on how to deal with these situations?
What do you think has happened? Or is it just a microcosm of society? More bad seeds running around, more likely to find them in any given profession? What are the psychological and background checks like now I wonder.

I agree. Something must be done to protect us from people like this. We cannot live under this kind of threat. It’s not right. I’m remembering now and wonder what happened with that one cop who shot and killed a woman in her nightgown when she came up to the police car after reporting noises in her alley. I think it might have been in Minnesota.

One look at that “cop” and it makes me wonder who his this obviously unfit person to be a civil servant. Complete lack of good judgment seems to rule.
I think the first step to stop the willful execution of citizens by persons in magic blue costumes is to hold them to the highest of standards:
All persons granted a privilege to keep and bear arms without being infringed upon, for compensation or hire, Shall be held to All Standards of the United States Military Code of Justice.
Why should Police Officers be held to a Lower Standard than our boys on the battlefield during a time of war?? The way I see it is, if you have been granted Special Privileges regarding the possession and carrying of Military Weapons, you need to held to the SAME Standards as our Military.
This will put the Majority in PRISON FOR LIFE!!!

Let me fix that for you.
The suspect started to crawl. The suspect reached for his waistband, the cop then shot the suspect to death.
Could have been handled better, like cuff the guy while he was on the floor, hands behind his back, and legs crossed.
Having him crawl towards you was STUPID.
BUT, when the cops have guns trained on you, don’t reach toward your waistband. The jury got it right.
And that's moment when the partner shoots you 7 times because you were "making a move".
