Let’s see, to pay that back at the current prison minimum wage of $0.86/day, he’s going to need around 700 years. May as well get started!

Much like our X-president, A. Hastings knows nothing until it is seen in the “news”. The old poker is 81 years old. Who’s to say some of this “cabbage” didn’t supply him with large doses of Viagra. Is Ms Winsome Packer strutting around town in a new fur coat?

In the future perhaps these pseudos should be raiding their hidden slush funds rather than taking the shirt off the backs of taxpayers.

HAT TIP TO Kim CLEMENT: This prophet spoke of the indiscretions of these DC critters several years ago. He stated the d’rat party would find themselves in this predicament (caught with their pants down).

The hush money needs to be clawed back by Congress with interest and penalties and by the estate of the deceased if necessary.

This is the one case where there should be a debtors prison if the former Congressional scumback can’t or won’t pay.

Hastings is a terminal dirtbag and liar, btw.

This POS Democrat Alcee L. Hastings was a federal judge until he got caught taking bribes in big druggie cases.
He was impeached by the congress.
Then the stoopids of south Florida elected this turd to congress.
Says a whole lot about the stoopids there.
Also says a whole lot about this POS.

Alcee Hastings should never have held elected office:

"In 1988, the Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives took up the case, and Hastings was impeached for bribery and perjury by a vote of 413–3. He was then convicted in 1989 by the United States Senate, becoming the sixth federal judge in the history of the United States to be removed from office by the Senate. The Senate, in two hours of roll calls, voted on 11 of the 17 articles of impeachment. It convicted Hastings of eight of the 11 articles. The vote on the first article was 69 for and 26 opposed.[1]"

What a travesty! Hastings was impeached and removed from office for judicial corruption, but was permitted to serve in the Congress because the US Senate failed to include language barring him from holding legislative office when he was impeached.

From Bob Novak Feburary, 2007 just after Dems took over Congress.

HELSINKI PURGE

Rep. Chris Smith of New Jersey and Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas, Republican members of the Helsinki Commission monitoring human rights, have written protests to illegal firing of four Republican commission staffers after the Democrats won control of Congress.

The commission’s new chairman, Democratic Rep. Alcee Hastings of Florida, began the firings under oversight of Spencer Oliver, a longtime Democratic operative famed as a victim of the Watergate burglary. Oliver, secretary general of an international body dealing with human rights, was assisting the U.S. commission as an observer. Under the commission’s founding laws, three of the committee’s four lawmakers must concur in any staff firing.

Hastings is expected to change the commission’s focus away from religious freedom in Belarus and European sex trafficking and concentrate on alleged U.S. abuses at Guantanamo.

Note the name Spencer Oliver. He was the DNC official whose phone was tapped by the Watergate burglars.
