Who or what company hired this illegal?

“Forty-three-year-old Saerang Ye was on his way home from work as a mechanical engineer, when he was picked up by ICE about a block from his home.”

Find a way to let him stay. Hard working-I believe it. Did not come here to spice up our food or deflower our daughters. Taking over the country is not on his mind when you think of what he went through. Muzzles/mexicans on the other hand...

I love the way the headline talks about someone’s mother’s fears. Why, at 43 years old, having committed felonies in his late 20’s, he is just a bay-bee.

He could always petition his congress critter for a special relief bill. That was the way hard luck cases like this were handled back before the "too many to deport" mentality took hold.

However, mail theft is a pretty serious crime, so he may not get a majority even on a voice vote.

Uh, if he was illegal, why weren’t you scared all along? The fact that you weren’t is what indicates a problem with immigration enforcement in this country, not the fact that you are now.

This guy may very well be a decent person, but any sympathy I may have had was blown away by the over-the-top, maudlin, emotional propaganda FOX40 just gave us.

If only breaking the law carried no consequences, there would be peace all over the world. Clouds would rain gumdrops, and every day would be sunshine and lollipops, rainbows and puppy dogs, pink bunnies, marshmallows, and squid (I like squid).

No worries - you and your’s can self deport to Cambodia and still be together. He can be an “amazing” father and mechanical engineer there.

Oh, and a US citizen can fill the open position.

He should have came in through the front door, instead of trying to sneek in through the back door.

Spare me the sob story. Deport his ass.

Just think of how he could help his country rebuild.. maybe he could help make the postal service a better organization by using his talents there instead of here to rip people off..

So because Cambodia won’t take him is why he’s still here or else he would be gone for the past 16 years. If our prior leadership would have said no matter if you want him back or not we’re sending him this never happens.

Are you kidding? WE need mechanical engineers. Woodland
is a BIG TIME farming community near the banks of the
Sacramento River. The chances are pretty high that this
guy works for an agriculture related business. He knows
his way around tractors and harvesters. If the guy was
brought to the US when he was 6 then he was educated in
the US and it wasnt cheap. If he was in his home country
and applied to move to the US he would be put at the front
of the line. So we send him to Cambodia and take his
job away while he jumps through the hoops to get back?
Is his family collecting welfare now?

Nope, we don’t know all the particulars but on the
surface this looks like a case which allows we
conservatives to show that we are practical and
compassionate.

If the Khmer Rouge were still in power, I’d understand, but they are long gone.

If the mother really loves her husband, she would move to Cambodia to be with him
