Alabamians might 'hold their nose' to back Roy Moore for one reason — abortion
CBC News ^ | Dec 06, 2017 5:00 AM ET | Matt Kwong

Suzanne Michelle can scarcely hold it in any longer when it comes to Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore. At her Friday Bible study social, the Alabama Democrat is so troubled by Moore's alleged sexual misconduct involving teen girls that she's taken to applying Jesus's teachings to today's politics.

Michelle, 34, wants to know how anyone, including right-leaning Christians she sometimes socializes with, can square the "biblical truths" by which they all abide with what she sees as a "single-issue voting population."

"From people who are friends of mine, who have different political ideologies, they hold matters of the soul in super-high regard. And they keep coming down hard on this one single issue," she said.

"The abortion issue."

Indeed, while the Dec. 12 special election pitting Moore against former prosecutor Doug Jones may be defined by sexual misconduct, its outcome could be decided by how willing Alabamians are to support a pro-choice candidate in Jones.

God forbid.... People voting for the sanctity of life. I'm sure the Canadian socialist CBC is appalled.

Hmmm. I guess hold their noses due to rotting fetus’? Or is it feti? Or to libs, mere tissue masses.

Yup. Democrats continue to pay a very steep price for making abortion a litmus test.

This will be the week that Gloria Allred drags out some woman accusing Roy Moore of forcing her to abort their baby. All the past noise was a setup to get to that accusation.

It is much more moral to support a candidate who promises to kill a living baby half way out the birth canal than it is to support a candidate accused of things at the last minute that he denies and has been able to prove wrong

“””Michelle, 34, wants to know how anyone, including right-leaning Christians she sometimes socializes with...”””

Poor Michelle probably has to take a shower after she sometimes socializes with right-leaning Christians.

Where is the proof regarding the allegations against Moore?

Thus far, we have only seen proof of bias on the part of several accusers.

Or they might be eagerly chomping at the bit to vote for him, because they see the attacks against him across the years as proxy attacks on the Christian faith.

This just might be a phenomenon which could launch Moore into the presidency in 2024.

It won’t just be abortion, it will be judges - the difference between judges that approve of pervs being allowed in girls’ locker rooms, and the ones that do not approve.

And taxes, and spending, and military.

Despite what the Left and RINOs think, people in Alabama are NOT IDIOTS, which is why they’re still supporting Moore, when their tactics likely would have worked just about anywhere else in the country.

Quite.

If Jones wasn’t a cookie cutter libtard...

But he is, and I think the people know that.

The rat base is none too pleased with his “look at me, I prosecuted the KKK, I’m the best right?” campaign. That’s and calling Moore a perv is the only thing he’s doing. He can’t talk about the issues.

Not the only issue either.
Imagine people voting on real issues instead of fake news’ memes!

Jones has now been reduced to running non-stop ads that say nothing except "Roy Moore is calling me names" and "See I am a hunter, I own guns, no really, I do, Look...."

Damn tooting!! And it helps that I don’t believe these girls, but if I did, which is the greater evil: 60 million++ dead babies, or no-sex with teenagers?

Which one of these accusers has said she actually had sex with Moore?

I hope Roy Moore is anticipating that. It might be wise to have an ad already in the can and ready to play as an immediate response.

It would be so cool to have an ad that says. Gloria Alred and her crew are so predictable that we cut this ad last week.

No, I did not fund an abortion for any young ladies when I was younger. The people of Alabama deserve better than the nonsense she and my opponent are pumping out. Vote for Roy Moore.

All US politics is about abortion

Democrats allowed their party to be taken over by abortion promoters

Republicans won’t allow an abortion ban. They run on it, it’s how they get into office. How can they get into office if there is no abortion to fight against

Along comes done-with-it voters, kicking out horrible democrats, leaving republicans in charge of the house and then oh no! The senate and then don’t worry, the pres candidates will throw the election to whom? A foreign born Manchuria candidate? No worries, he’ll cover for them and keep abortion legal meanwhile the republican house and senate can work on getting back into the minority.

Along comes a populist. Who might screw up this scheme, never mind that every and all democrats by virtue, or lack thereof, of being now primarily pro abortion is so morally vacuous and therefore incompetent at their jobs, that they can’t even manage to get themselves elected

Along comes a populist Trump that voters who despise abortion more than ever, threatening to ruin the whole scheme and the republicans will destroy any anti abortion candidate quicker than any ABC reporter or Hillary evver thought of. Only the republicans are used to havin democrats do their dirty work on this. They suck at it. A forged yearbook signature? i was better than that in tenth grade when i had to get out of sister Rosetta’s geometry class

Democrats are a dying party. Hillary will be the last to know

Republicans are going to get on board with Trump, who probably randomly chose R, may as well have, or be left behind

Hey Matt. Alabamans may also walk into the voting booth breathing freely and vote for Moore because they don’t believe lying ambushes by fake news swamp dwellers, like you.

Here’s how the lib media tries to fool people. Moore has no chance and Jones will win. As you read it, just replace Moore’s name with Trump and Jone’s with Hillary Clinton. Sounds like something from a year ago.
