House lawmakers will take their first vote on whether to impeach President Trump this week if a Texas Democrat follows through on plans he announced to colleagues Tuesday.
Rep. Al Green (D-Tex.) said in a memo to fellow lawmakers that he planned to bring articles of impeachment to the House floor Wednesday as a “privileged resolution,” one that would be entitled to a vote within two days under House rules.
Green has discussed impeaching Trump since the spring and previously filed impeachment articles in October, nearly forcing a vote at that time before House Democratic leaders persuaded him to temporarily abandon the effort. Now Green says the time has come for his colleagues to weigh in.

Al Green is doing the Republicans a favor, although I’m sure he doesn’t realize it. If the House Democrats vote for impeachment, they will expose themselves to anyone with a functioning brain cell that they are fanatically determined to destroy President Trump for the unforgiveable crime of defeating their queen, the Wicked Witch. This will turn off the “swing voters” and thus hurt House Democrats in 2018.
Can we replace him with the singer of the same name? The guy who sang “Let’s Stay Together” . . . ?

Wrong. Democrats, and other Liberals, hate nobody more than President Trump. They want Trump out of office even if it meant the death of their families. They are obsessively and fanatically hateful toward President Trump, consequences be damned.
I thought votes had to be okayed by the Speaker, before they could be called for.

Democrats are like piranha. However, President Trump is casually tossing sticks of dynomite off his yacht into the infested waters and watching the dead ones float to the top.
Not the most efficient method, but a lot more fun.

it’s totally awesome that a moonbat like Al Green has become the face of the Democrat party, and even better can put the Dems between a rock and hard place by forcing them to take a stand on an impeachment vote whose grounds are pretty much little more than Hillary didn’t win and Trump did.
Every Dem who isn’t a total fascist will be forced to grit their teeth and vote AGAINST impeachment in order to maintain the fiction that they support Constitutional government and the right of people to elect their representatives.
And President Pence will select Senator Moore as his new V.P.
The Dems want a crippled ineffective Trump they do not wish to replace him. Replacing Trump with Pence would be an utter disaster for them.
