A supervisory special agent who is now under scrutiny after being removed from Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel’s Office for alleged bias against President Trump also oversaw the bureau’s interviews of embattled former National Security advisor Michael Flynn, this reporter has learned. Flynn recently pled guilty to one-count of lying to the FBI last week.

FBI agent Peter Strzok was one of two FBI agents who interviewed Flynn, which took place on Jan. 24, at the White House, said several sources. The other FBI special agent, who interviewed Flynn, is described by sources as a field supervisor in the “Russian Squad, at the FBI’s Washington Field Office,” according to a former intelligence official, with knowledge of the interview.

This was not an interview, it was an ambush

The two FBI agents showed up unannounced , took a very busy and preoccupied Flynn into his office and grilled him on criminal national security investigations with no heads or or time to prepare

I'm sure Flynn was in shock as anyone would be.

This was,of course, Strzok intent - blind side a busy, preoccupied future administration official and hope he gives you some inconsistencies to hang him with process crimes and use the full force of the US justice department to squeeze him and put the screws to him

Perhaps a way to treat a Mafia Don or Russian spy , but not exactly the way you treat a Three Star General who has served his country well

From the CNN article: “But the news of Strzok’s direct role in the statement that ultimately cleared the former Democratic presidential candidate of criminal wrongdoing, now combined with the fact that he was dismissed from special counsel Robert Mueller's team after exchanging private messages with an FBI lawyer that could be seen as favoring Clinton politically, may give ammunition to those seeking ways to discredit Mueller's Russia investigation.”

So, instead of stating that this raises significant questions about the integrity of the special counsel and of the FBI, the concern is only that it could provide ‘ammunition’ to those who want this witch hunt to end.

“My offhand estimate would be 35 years in a Federal prison.”

I’m just waiting for the retired veterans who already fought for this country to see what is going on and feel the need to silently take action to save the country for their children and grandchildren.

I just pray that the tide turns fast and the swamp is drained quickly.

“It wasn’t until after they were already in (Flynn’s) office that he realized he was being formerly interviewed. He didn’t have an attorney with him,” they added.

I think they mean formally interviewed, but regardless, this may be the key line in the article.

Agreed!

Soviet Socialist Hillary drafted a false legal narrative against President Nixon, did her damage, and then was let go.

The legal team determined to go with her draft docs anyway.

“This was,of course, Strzok intent”

Strzok should go to jail. What he did is not much different than a dirty law enforcement person going rogue and planting evidence on someone they don't like - while covering for his/her friends who actually are committing crimes.

I also want to know more about the girlfriend/mistress. What was her role, and was she somehow compromised?

It seems to me that Trump is like the little Dutch boy with his finger in the dike and the Democrats are beside themselves with desire to yank him away.

"Nunes said Saturday that the mistress of Strzok, who was the top FBI official assigned to Mueller’s Special Counsel, was an FBI lawyer working for FBI Deputy Director McCabe."

From Got News

Tamara Page the mother of top Justice Department anti-Trump Russia witch-hunting team trial attorney Lisa Page has promoted the lie that the FBI and its now fired director James Comey were working to elect President Donald J. Trump, spread statements by Hillary Clinton that President Trump is a “demagogue who is unqualified and unsuited,” and loved hearing that Comey and DOJ team leader Robert Mueller could “bring down the president,” according to a review of Tamara’s Facebook activity.

The Mueller special counsel team has come under fire for their far-left wing roots, and Lisa’s mother’s actions supporting the hysterical Democrat narrative of Republican collusion with Russia call into question yet another team member’s personal commitment to a fair inquiry.

Tamara boosted a Dec. 19th video of Bill Maher from ATTN: where the HBO host says:

“Shouldn’t Comey and the FBI be checking Putin instead of working to elect Donald Trump? If you can’t get behind opposing that, you are not a patriot and you are certainly not a good American.”

Per CBS September 29 2017

Lisa Page, an attorney who was part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election, has left, the special counsel’s office confirmed.

Page, who was an attorney with the FBI’s Office of the General Counsel, returned to the FBI in mid-July, special counsel spokesman Peter Carr confirmed to CBS News’ Andres Triay.

The news of Page’s depature was first reported by ABC News.

Page was one of nearly two dozen high-profile attorneys and investigators who Mueller assembled.

Prior to her position with the FBI, Page worked as a trial attorney in the Organized Crime and Gang Section of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. Page has prosecuted a number cases involving eastern European organized crime. In one case, she partnered with an FBI task force in Budapest that investigated a money-laundering case against Mr. Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort’s one-time business partner, Dmitry Firtash, a Ukrainian oligarch.

Page is the second person to depart the team so far. Peter Strzok, who was chief of the FBI counterespionage unit that was involved in overseeing the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server last year, departed the team in August. It’s unclear why Strzok left.

Here is another of the inside swamp creatures:

The average American does not go this deep. If this keeps ratcheting up and our corrupt government tries to take Trump out, Im pretty sure the American people will not stand for it, right?

Over at Hotair they threw out the thought that Trump could pardon Flynn because Flynn pled guilty without the knowledge that his interrogator was demoted for his Trump/Hillary bias.

It’s great that Mueller fired him but the damage is done. This politically motivated investigation cannot be purged of its bias. Key decisions were made during the time this guy was conducting the investigation.

If Flynn hasn’t been sentenced, he can withdraw his guilty plea.

This story is so big that we are like the blind man and the elephant story, sensing bits of it here and there but not really grasping the whole.

There IS a Deep State. It includes Republicans and Democrats, and maybe more of the former. It does NOT accept the results of the 2016 Presidential election, and, as it now appears, it worked very hard to fix the outcome.

A coverup is underway to keep hidden what should be known, and to protect the principals in the conspiracy (not too strong of a word) to keep Trump out of the White House.

Reasoning by analogy with other historical examples, the “ordinary course of judicial proceedings” may not be sufficient to contain and eventually to eliminate the threat to our President’s tenure in office.

We may need Mattis to put the uniform back on.

"A former senior Trump administration official" praised Strzok.

That description could fit James Comey.

“tick tock” is a metaphor for “things are moving ahead, step by step”. It takes time to get things right.
