Peter Strzok, as deputy head of counterintelligence at the FBI, was a key player in the investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server to do government work as secretary of state, as well as the probe into possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia in the 2016 election.

During the Clinton investigation, Strzok was involved in a romantic relationship with FBI lawyer Lisa Page, who worked for Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, according to the people familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.

Just the recognized tip of an emerging iceberg.

Who investigates the investigators to keep them honest?

This is likely for show purposes only- in order to demonstrate that the altruistic Mueller is above partisanship. The fact that the Slimes and the Compost are breaking this story tells me all I need to know.

Per CBS September 29 2017

Lisa Page, an attorney who was part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election, has left, the special counsel’s office confirmed.

Page, who was an attorney with the FBI’s Office of the General Counsel, returned to the FBI in mid-July, special counsel spokesman Peter Carr confirmed to CBS News’ Andres Triay.

The news of Page’s depature was first reported by ABC News.

Page was one of nearly two dozen high-profile attorneys and investigators who Mueller assembled.

Prior to her position with the FBI, Page worked as a trial attorney in the Organized Crime and Gang Section of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. Page has prosecuted a number cases involving eastern European organized crime. In one case, she partnered with an FBI task force in Budapest that investigated a money-laundering case against Mr. Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort’s one-time business partner, Dmitry Firtash, a Ukrainian oligarch.

Page is the second person to depart the team so far. Peter Strzok, who was chief of the FBI counterespionage unit that was involved in overseeing the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server last year, departed the team in August. It’s unclear why Strzok left.

Always exceptions, but there was once a time when the FBI could be trusted.

“A former senior Trump administration official said Strzok was even-handed in all of his dealing with the Trump White House. “I had the occasion to work closely with Special Agent Peter Strzok and never experienced even a hint of political bias. He was one of the most competent (counterintelligence) agents, and a role model,” the official said. “The country is tearing itself apart, and men like Pete Strzok are victims. The enemy is better off with him sidelined.””

The above was likely PULLED OUT OF THIN AIR, so as to ‘balance’ the article. There is no way the above can be true, given the texts he sent.

I want to see the anti trump and pro Hillary emails that this Partisan left Winger Sent out before being fired. You have to have Manure for brains to be the top investigator of both Hillary and trump And to be writing partisan diatribes at the same Time totally unprofessional and frightening.

So this immoral political hack has been one of Mueller's right hand men for the last four months of this investigation? These swamp rats have gone way over the line. Mueller should in no way be involved in this investigation with all his conflicts -- especially with his Uranium One connections.

“Wray has yet to make many significant changes at the top. But a major house cleaning by the new director is widely anticipated inside the bureau.”

Wray needs to get on with it! For starters, McCabe needs to go.

I honestly could never trust the judgement or integrity of anyone who still thinks Hillary Clinton should have any job in government and isn't a criminal. Hillary is an indefensible person.

Warning Conspiracy theory:
Qanon has been suggesting that Mueller is a US Marine first that follows the Military code and a partisan hack second.

Not saying Qanon is real. Just pointing out the obvious.

This is a smoke screen to give Mueller more creditably, the face it Mueller still hired mostly democrat lawyers, and Mueller himself is implicated in some of the ‘cases’ he’s allegedly investigating, or rather not investigating.
IE: Uranium one.

Mueller needs to be removed if this is to be taken seriously as an honest investigation. Someone who isn’t implicated in the Clinton colution cases Uranium one needs to be incharge.
