Flynn played it pretty loose though from the beginning with his dealings with Turkey, those are pretty open. He has been an advocate for Turkey and apparently was paid for that. That may not be illegal. It seems he had to register as a “foreign agent” or something.
He was on the campaign trail with Trump, acted as a campaign surrogate and would appear on Trumptv etc
remember lying to FBI can literally be you repeating a statement/lie you believe to be true.
I don’t believe hes been abandoned by Trump, it is probably a better and cleaner route to remove himself and his son from the Trump inquiry.

I think they are going to drop H-bombs on the Clinton crime syndicate in the near future while exonerating President Trump.
Hopefully this can be kept under wraps until the tax bill is signed into law, and the WALL is funded via a POTUS DEAL, because this EPIC CORRUPTION/TREASON SCANDAL will suck a lot of the oxygen next year.
I also believe President Trump is waiting for the above legislative developments before resolving N. Korea militarily.

Then, we’re back to trying to wake up Sessions and get him to appoint someone to investigate Clinton, also the unmasking by Obama admin, maybe Lerner. Wow, Sessions could appoint and let loose a dozen prosecutors to investigate these matters.

And ABC is one of the worst about doing that. But they’re one of the best about finding someone they can escort in there to be close to the situation. (Possibly the equipment truck driver)

I don’t belive Nixon was convicted before being pardoned. But I think he just lost any chance of being pardoned by Trump.
I don’t think it’s relevant whether he plead guilty or was convicted by a court as far as the president’s pardoning powers. I’m not an attorney, however.
Correct. Never talk to a Federal agent without the express permission of your private attorney. And they won’t ever tell you to do that. Let them build a case if they think you have committed a crime but don’t give them ANYTHING. A wrong date or time or place or name will be considered a lie so if they can’t get you for the crime they will get you for the false testimony.
there was talk about his being charged for other crimes so I’m wondering what else they dropped to allow him to plead to the false testimony only? He was only a part of the administration for less than a month as I recall?
I just did some reading about Gen Flynn’s work at DIA and post military on Wiki. Yes, I know it’s not much better than “crowd Sourced” information but it doesn’t paint a very pretty picture. Cozy with Vlad shortly after leaving the military with a $45,000 speaking engagement and sitting at the top table with Vlad. Failing to report to DOD about that relationship. Working on both sides of the fence during the Turkey problems and doing $530,000 of lobbying for Ergodan, which was likely reported a little late.

He was very actively engaged with the Trump campaign before, during and after the convention as an intelligence advisor. Trump being warned off the guy two days after the election by Obummer is a little funny?
The most troubling part of this whole story was the fact that Trump was asking Comey about him at that private meeting at the White House. At the time I just blamed Comey for being the dishonest little tattle tale that he is, but the discussion bothers me. Maybe, just maybe, Flynn knows things about the administration that is worrisome?
I’m MAGA all the way but this might get messy for Trump if Flynn develops diarrhea of the mouth to save his own skin or his son?
