President Trump called out Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer for boycotting a White House meeting Tuesday afternoon, by leaving two seats conspicuously empty -- and accusing the no-show Democratic leaders of being "all talk" and "no action."
"And now, its even worse. Now it's not even talk. So they're not showing up for the meeting," Trump told reporters.

After Trump's open-seat display, Pelosi accused the president of "verbal abuse."

Gotta give President Trump credit for not letting the Democrats stomp on him, like most Republicans do.

Next time President Trump invites Democrats to the White House for a meal, he should serve meals from the book "Pow Wow Chow". That way Elizabeth Warren can be there in spirit, if not in person.
Would that make it spirit cooking?

Clint Eastwood was prophetic. I was just thinking the same thing. Clint is going to get a smile out of this when he wakes up this morning.

Republicans need to use the empty chair theme during the campaign cycle. It fits with the DNC Convention crowd pictured above, Hillary seats, NFL seats & Democrat leadership.

Trump originally had scheduled a meeting at the White House Tuesday with top congressional leaders of both parties. But on Tuesday morning, Pelosi and Schumer pulled out, in retaliation for a Trump tweet suggesting they couldn't reach a bipartisan budget deal. Trump 1, Rats 0

Imagine if McCain had had the guts to do that during the debates. Bammy said they would debate together and then backed out on the deal. If I’d been McCain I’d had an empty chair with a suit on it and pointed out this is what you get with obama.

Chuck and Nancy arrogantly assumed that, like a good little Republican President, Trump would cancel the meeting, thus giving them the media advantage.
But, he held the meeting. With two empty chairs.

A chance to make fools of gobsmacked RATs. How did this make fools of them? Trump threw down a gauntlet by tweeting that there wasn't much worth talking about and he saw no chance of a deal coming out of it. They picked up the gauntlet and called his bluff.
If anyone looked foolish in this it's Paul Ryan, with his 46 seat majority in the House, and Mitch McConnell, with his two seat majority in the Senate, whining about how if there is a shutdown then it's the Democrats fault.
