Anti-Trump MSNBC Host Joy Reid Thinks Rural Americans Are 'Core Threat' To Democracy
Fox News ^ | 11-27-2017 | Brian Flood

MSNBC host Joy Reid thinks that rural Americans are “the core threat to our democracy” and pointed to a series of tweets by liberal author Jared Yates Sexton that claimed Trump supporters “do not believe in the Constitution or any founding principles unless they're advantageous” as proof of her far-left theory.

“By 2040, about 70% of Americans are expected to live in the 15 largest states. They will have only 30 senators representing them, while the remaining 30% of Americans will have 70 senators representing them,” MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin tweeted over the weekend.

Reid, who tweets so often that it’s amazing she finds time to do anything else, has a feed that is essentially the anti-Trump talking points of the far left on a daily basis. While Sexton never specifically mentioned the “rural minority” in his rant, the MSNBC host took it upon herself to quote Griffin’s tweet add her own commentary tied to Sexton's thread.

“This is the core threat to our democracy. The rural minority -- the people @JYSexton just wrote a long thread about -- have and will continue to have disproportionate power over the urban majority,” Reid tweeted.

Yo, nasty, stupid one...where do you get your food???

Is it a co-op garden near your hi-rise condo? I don’t think so...

If there was a way to pee on her wheat or corn plant here near Cincy...and guarantee it would be one she bought...

Yo, kil-joy, that city tofu you eat at thanksgiving, it is from those fields near my house...

Mrs Reid is clearly cranking up the hyperbole, and it seems to be paying off.

Notwithstanding her strong October ratings book, when I read of her act, it is reminiscent of these people....

Also, it’s a shame the Founding Fathers didn’t think of a way to modify the constitution as the nation evolved
If this is sarcasm, well done. Thanks to leftist ideology, the nation devolved. The Founding Fathers had intended to base the country on the immutable rule of law, and on the people maintaining religion and morality in their private lives without the need to worry about the existence of an ever-expanding central government breathing down their necks telling them how to live against their conscience and coercing them to do so.

If Hitler were not a socialist, he could have been arguing for a republic there. But of course he did not believe in republicanism either.

C'mon Joy, you can say it, we're all adults here.

All those "rural" voters, the ones clinging to their guns and their Bibles, the ones that voted for Donald J Trump, the ones that keep blockading hussein's political and cultural revolution...they're White, aren't they Joy?

Reid is a constitutionally ignorant idiot and a liar. A very big liar. Or nation is not now and has never been a democracy so her statement to that fact is a huge bold faced lie from a confirmed liar.

The founders of this nation quite intentionally set up our election process so the large areas of population could not rule the rest of the nation. That is the primary reason for the Electoral College. It was done very intentionally to foil socialist stupid morons like this witch, with a big B, from ever having that power.

The were all much smarter than you Joy and the vast majority of the states in this nation are damn glad of it.

Joy needs to take her POS attitude and put it where it will never get sunburned.

Me a child? My children have children and by virtue of having lived this long I’ve seen this nation slowly turn into a dung heap. It’s been aided along the way by virtue signalers who profess, with arrogance, an inherent ability to repair what is a hopelessly fractured system. A system anyone with a modicum of political acumen should recognize as shattered. The election of Trump has exposed both parties, but more so the Rs, as useless pederasts and ass grabbers, more enamored with their own station in life than those who put them in power. My pessimism comes from watching political posers x decades who still see hope in the draining the Swamp and who actively discourage those who see their effort as childlike. So shoo, go call your rep & senator and ask for a tweak of some legislation, none of which will actively halt the illegal invasion of America. As the demographic shift continues unabated my piece or rural America looks better and better.

Most definitely sarcasm. Glad you liked it. I was pointing out how staggeringly stupid most libs are when it comes to understanding governance and the origins of the nation’s governance. I honestly doubt that any of them understand the amendment process. They complain endlessly about the structure of the governance of the country, but they blithely ignore the fact that the tools for addressing their complaints are right at their fingertips.

Of course, it really matters very little because the nation slipped the constraints of constitutional law long ago. The last small bulwarks against them are the electoral college and the use of an Upper and Lower House with different apportionment methods. If we ever lose those, we are doomed to be enslaved by the urban “elites.”

As you point out, the founders did not foresee many things including the emergence of communism and the constant threat it is against our nation, how it insidiously captures the minds of unthinking people and makes them “fellow travelers,” their evil methods of taking over the institutions and eating away at the soul of our nation, the failure of the people to maintain religion and morality, the expansion of federal government without any restraints, the enslavement of people by that government, the diminution of state governments, the emergence of a rapidly growing islamist cult antithetical to the well-being of American, the rise of parties, and the rise of gigantic corporations that call the shots in Washington rather than the People.

No, the other 35 STATES will have the same number of Senators per state as the other 15. Thank you Founders for setting up this government the way you did.

Never forget that Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb deciding what is for dinner. This is exactly what the libs want.

Such naive, small comments from a man? who thinks politics can turn things around. Where does this hope come from? Politically what has changed for the better in your lifetime? Please show me positive results that has come from legislation? Most importantly point me to men who will lead US against the communist/socialist/globalist rot that our political class has created in DeeCee.
