James Comey's pedestal is crumbling
American Thinker ^ | November 27, 2017 | Monica Showalter

Fired FBI Director James Comey has had a long run as Mister Probity in the nonstop issue of Russia hacking the U.S. election.

Remember how Democrats raged when President Trump got rid of the guy for incompetence in his congressional testimony last May?  Remember the seismic shock – and how it led to the appointment of a special counsel?  Democrats still embittered about Hillary Clinton's loss to Trump in turn raised Comey's stature as that of a noble watchdog and guardian of democracy instead an incompetent.  After that, Comey got a multi-million-dollar book advance, reportedly as high as $10 million.

But the Associated Press now reports that Comey's agency, the FBI, pretty well ignored Russian hacking attempts going on against 19,000 Gmail accounts held by U.S. officials.

The DNC said that the Russians hacked into their computers. The DNC did not notify anyone for months.

Now Comey and the FBI never notified most people who were supposedly hacked by the Russians.

The article gives a good summary of Comey's many lies and possible treason.

To pull apart the stench from the truth with the incestuous relationships within the FBI, it seems like we have something worse than a needle in a haystack. It is like finding your dropped chewing gum on the floor of a chicken coop with along with chunks of Limburger cheese, sheep dung, and cow pies.

How can we tolerate the FBI being complicit in destroying evidence (laptops and hard drives) yet fail to collect evidence (like the DNC server), then have the author of the 'dossier' on the FBI payroll while he was also collecting fees from Hillary and the DNC, then use the fictional 'dossier' as a launching pad for running to the FISA Court to spy on Hilary's opponent using the fictional 'dossier' as gospel? Not even perverse Hollywood could come up with a script like this...

I know a Russian émigré who daily cracks jokes about hacking for Trump.

I think actual Russians find this whole thing absurd.

Thanks detective. The only reason Comey will elude prison is that he'll fall victim to Arkancide.
