The Republicans ought to make sure that everyone who is middle class is not paying more. If the top end gets less of a cut, it’s fine. They’ll survive. If there are in the middle class who end up paying more, it will be disastrous for the GOP.

If that's your battle cry the Left has already won.

It’s difficult to make sure every case comes out positive, but I agree that if they better set some goal - maybe 98% come out ahead, at least in red states. For blue states, I wouldn’t worry as much, although it could cost a handful of Congressional seats.

It just angers me that people here are willing to put a few hundred bucks in more taxes (or whatever amount) as a higher priority than Trump getting anymore conservative Supreme Courts through.

I also agree with you on the wealthy...Trump should play that card. The wealthy mainly hold up their noses to him anyway...and I wouldn’t have any issue making people with AGIs of $500k pay a bit more and those with $1M pay a lot more. For the life of me, I cannot see why a person with that kind of money would have trouble living on, say, $600k per year take home (rather than the $700k or so they have now)...and if they struggle there, it’s your fault or my fault, it is THEIR FAULT.
