Just wait until next year as not paying attention becomes a habit. The nfl is finished, and so are the other sports that embrace progressive values.
Watched just enough of it to find out who their sponsors were so I could decide if I can live without their product or find it elsewhere (first minute of games). You dance, you pay the piper.

I told them I changed the channel after the Denver Broncos took a knee and have not watched the NFL since. I told them that I hope they realize what the players have done.
Didn’t watch the turkeys play. Instead I ate one of them. Goes good with stuffing, cranberry sauce and a fine Chianti.

Got out my old electric football game and showed it to my son.
You remember those old games. The players moved because of the vibrations.
We took the end off the game and put the game on the table with that end hanging off the table.
Then, we put the sausage grinder underneath it.
Oh, those players were yelling the national anthem as they dropped down.
I watched the games and am dismayed by the overall quality of play. Can’t anybody play this game?

Not missing it at all. An event that lasts on avg 3 hours & 12 minutes, but avg ball in play time is just a tad over 11 min...smh
I left the below message. I think even the most obtuse could figure out I didn’t watch the game.
When America’s fallen come from the Middle East they arrive at Dover Air Force Base in caskets covered with a star-spangled banner. When they are buried the flag is removed, elegantly folded, and given to a spouse, child, sibling, or parent.
You stand for the National Anthem. You kneel to pray for the country. Doing otherwise identifies you as feckless, arrogant, self-absorbed. Whatever cause or grievance you think you have becomes squalid and frivolous.
I remember a time when success was defined in terms of marriage, raising kids, career, etc. Now there is an alternative definition. Success means convincing others to adjust their behavior for the emotional damage people have decided to inflict upon themselves because of some apparent slight.
Success is then defined as forcing others into codependent relationships, instead of joining those who move through and around the same issues to achieve a traditional definition of success. Your association has decided to take its place to support victory for this type of mutilated relationship.
