This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for many things — but when it comes to politics, I am especially thankful that Hillary Clinton is not sitting in the Oval Office.
I am thankful that Neil M. Gorsuch is on the Supreme Court and that President Trump has secured a conservative majority that will protect human life, religious liberty, the Second Amendment and limited government. I am also thankful the president is moving at record pace to fill the federal appeals courts with young conservative judges. While the Supreme Court only hears about 80 cases a year, the federal appeals courts get final say on about 60,000 — and because Democrats ended the filibuster, they can’t stop Trump from filling those courts with conservative legal rock stars. The Senate has already confirmed eight of Trump’s nine appellate nominees — the most this early in a presidency since Richard Nixon – and Trump will appoint plenty more before his first term expires. As former Clinton adviser Ronald A. Klain complained in The Post, “the next two generations of Americans will live under laws interpreted by hundreds of [Trump-appointed] judges.”
That alone is worth it. But there is more to be thankful for.....

I’m also thankful that Bernie Sanders or Yeb! or Kasich is not President. Or Rubio or Ted Cruz for that matter.
Democrats in particular, and the GOPe -their sidekicks - want to turn this country into a politically-correct Third World Hellhole. They’ve proven over and over that they’d rather rule in a Forever-Hell than serve the great country passed down to them.
The greatest Thanksgiving must wait for the future day when there no longer is a Democrat or Republican Party.
Didn't Hillary call for throwing out the Electoral College and going for the pure democracy of the public vote ?
That would be still a lie, as long as the vote was hectored up (if not also defrauded up) and wasn’t a mandatory plebiscite.

When the Democrats push the One Man, One Vote meme while doing everything in their power to stop Voter Fraud, they certainly are pushing Direct Democracy.
Hillary just blamed her loss on a State that requires Voter ID, arguing that Minorities were unable to Vote because of it. They will never abandon that ridiculous argument.

But always always look behind the curtain, just as we do to see that secular liberals are illiberal.
The only way to really do that would be through a mandatory plebiscite, a non-voluntary vote.
America’s character is such that this would lean mildly conservative. The Democrats would never want that; it would mean a much greater beachhead for the GOP.
I too rejoice that Hillary is not POTUS. I still have some small hope that the Clintons will finally be held accountable for their many crimes. Perhaps like Al Capone they will not be taken down for the major things they have done, but be caught by the IRS for all their sleazy dealings with the phony Clinton Foundation.
