Former Bush aide: GOP is 'over' if they let Moore serve in Senate
The Hill ^ | 11/22/17 | Josh Delk

Former George W. Bush administration aide Tony Fratto said Wednesday that if Republicans allow Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore to serve despite the serious sexual assault allegations against him, then the GOP is "over."

"We can scream our heads off all we want, Alabama voters will do whatever they do," Fratto tweeted. "The real test for the GOP is whether Moore is allowed to serve, should he win. Fail that test and the party's over."

Thank God the gop may be “over”. I have had enough of their being traitors to their electorate, to their being liars, to their being condescending jerks and to their double-dealing BS. I can’t wait for evermore Senator Moores and President Donald Trumps who won’t let these duplicitous LIB/DIM/RINO a**es push them around. MAGA!

No bush 3, if JEB was the nominee we would have Madam President today and living with the same dread and angst our Trump haters are enduring.

Better them than us, thank you, President Trump!

HRC is a toad. The only hack in last yrs campaign was HRC.

Anyone associated with Bush the boob or his old daddy can kiss my rear. It’s a new day in America and President Trump is leading it. He’s going to try and fix the DAMAGE that has been occurring since 1988 meaning the above-mentioned, as well as the Clintoons and the Obammy’s. Go to hell!!

“Fratto, formerly the deputy assistant and deputy press secretary for Bush”

I’m not saying he’s gay, like most of Bush’s ‘advisers’ were, I’m just saying that I can’t verify that he’s not.

Now, if he were gay, then I could understand him not wanting Moore in the Senate, considering that Moore stands for family values.

But since I don’t know either way, anything is possible regarding his motivations.

They have no choice. Under Powell v. McCormack, they can't refuse to seat him or expel him.

I could see a standoff here: they vote to expel and while Moore is suing them, the governor calls another special election, which Moore wins, and around we go.

Great headline. Needs a slight adjustment...

“Tony Fratto said Wednesday that if Republicans allow Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore to serve despite the serious sexual assault allegations against him, then the GOP is “over.”

Tony, that would be the gopE.

Thumbs up on that sentiment! The Republican party is in jeopardy because of the Bush family connection to the globalists. I do not forget that one of the Bush brothers had his own integrity problems and the recent revelation of Bush senior and his sneaky ass grabbing of young women who smiled and pretended not to notice. As did the self righteous media and GOPe. Then there is George Bush younger who had a drunk driving charge concealed until a rabid democrat committed a crime by revealing it. I have never heard of that democrat serving time or any other retaliation for that breach of law. The Bush family has connections to the Clinton crime family and they love the Obama politics. Then there is the episode of the Bush daughters drinking adult beverages in a bar and who knows what they did after that which was a warning to keep their behavior out of public scrutiny. Oh, and how about Bush senior and his girlfriend of many years that we are now hearing about? I do not give a rat’s ass about any of this and voted for both the Bush self righteous frauds but I do weigh their public opinions and that of their faithful sycophants against their attacks on Americans who are voting to clean the swamp and reclaim America for the ordinary Americans who are voting for Pres Trump and those who will help him with that job.

Nonsense. Maybe the GOPe (that little “e” is critical here) is over but that’s about it and you know what; good riddance if it is.

Never heard of this Fratto guy, but he is way behind the times. If the GOP is over, it isn’t because of Roy Moore winning a Senate seat, it would be more because of party leaders like the Bushes not voting for the party nominee. The base was loyal to the Bushes when they ran, but they lacked the character to be loyal to the party nominee because that nominee beat their poor little Jebbie who was their anointed one. So, this Fratto guy can go to he!!
