Funny how this Archbishop is living in the pit of Sodom and Gomorrah and excrement and he has an issue with people enforcing the Rule of Law with even our generous immigration laws, which are the best and most just in the World-—but he is fine with sodomy and baby-killing and theft (welfare and slavery) and talks about “Virtue”. What a joke!!!
This champion of virtue needs to understand that virtue formation in little children starts with the promotion of the Truth (God) and that normalizing baby-killing and the evil acts of sodomy are both demonic and satanism and will destroy virtue formation in any children exposed to those vile practices of pagans and satanists (other religions, btw).
The least of his problems are families who should go back to help their own countries prosper, so they can help make it a better place instead of an evil hell-hole which corrupts and destroys the people who remain.

I don’t know whether Mejia should be deported or not and I’m not a big fan of breaking up families. However he did violate both civil and criminal laws by his actions. It is up to a court to take everything into consideration.

You are all ignoring the fact that "keeper" - as used by Cain - meant something akin to "animal-keeper" or (as we would say today) "herder."
One still sees the true meaning in the modern term "zookeeper."
Cain was - rather insolently, to be sure - posing the rhetorical question: "Is my brother an animal? Do you expect me to hold him in a 'keep' him the same way he 'keeps' his sheep?"

"Keeper" comes from "keep" - a sort of corral or pen. Think "zookeeper" or the "keep" of a castle.
Cain was mockingly asking God the rhetorical question: "Should I be holding my brother in a 'keep' and looking after him the way a person might 'look after' a colony of rabbits?!"
No, our brothers are not animals that we should pen up and watch over like animals.

however, FYI, i have seen a number of applications or translations or explanations of the Hebrew word in question, keeper in Genesis 4:9, being hashomer.
it has several common usages, such as a care-taker or possibly a financial supporter or often...a guardian...for another person.........as was used by the Hashomer voluntary (guardians of Zion) defense organization in the early 1900’s Israel/Judaea, protecting farmers and other residents against Muslim terrorist attackers, murderers (just like today, alas!). Also, it can sometimes be an unpaid or paid custodian of another’s property, a tenant (responsibility for landlord’s premises), and more. Also, it can be translated in a number of ways, but usually for this verse (many translations, Jewish and Christian alike) it tends to come out as keeper, without any animal husbandry implications. Possible, yes. Usual, no. I think it probably here means pretty much what it usually means, namely someone who looks after the well-being of another or helps defend him or her. Just what I can glean. I certainly stand correctable, I do not claim expertise for sure, ha!! Thanks for your input!

That would mean each US Christian is to be the keeper of every person in the world, or at least, every random one that decides to wander over into our borders at any particular moment. Nope, I can’t be responsible for millions of people. God surely would not ask such a thing lol.
