A federal judge in Maryland became the second to block the Trump administration’s proposal to oust transgender service members from the military — but went a step further than the prior ruling and halted a directive for the Pentagon to stop paying for gender-reassignment treatments.
The preliminary injunction issued Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Marvin J. Garbis comes after the prior ruling out of D.C. found that the policy banning transgender troops creates an “inherent inequality” that likely violates the Constitution.
Judge Garbis wrote in his 53-page order that transgender military members who filed suit over the proposal had established that they were “likely to suffer imminent harm as a result of the Directives in the President’s Memorandum.”

Only the Supreme Court is co-equal with the President. All the lower courts were created by Congress.

Answer: They don’t. At least not constitutionally. The Judicial Branch can issue rulings until they turn blue in the face but they have no ability to enforce them. Enforcement is the purview of the Executive Branch. If the Executive Branch decides that a court ruling is illegal or unconstitutional then it can and should ignore the ruling. If the Legislative Branch doesn’t agree with the decisions of either of the other two branches then it can pass clarifying legislation. Of course, if the Executive Branch honors bad Judicial rulings then they’ve effectively surrendered their power to the courts. That’s what happens far too often.
Since when have judges legislative power?

This turkey of a judge is overruling an executive order, and I might add illegally in my view.
It hasn’t infected Trump.
So the congress and senate won’t work with POTUS and when he’s able to get something done via orders or policy, a judge stops it.

You’re looking at it wrong. When a lower court ‘judge’ makes an unconstitutional edict usurping executive authority, do you then compound the error by appealing that edict to another judge who has no business usurping executive authority?
SCROTUS has the power to shoot down all these wayward ‘judges’ & their unconstitutional edicts by vacating them immediately. They don’t
