The latest climate change survey from Yale and George Mason Universities is out, and it shows that Americans are still poorly-informed about the causes of global warming. Only 54% understand that it’s mostly human-caused, while 33% incorrectly believe global warming is due mainly to natural factors.
In fact, a new study published in Nature Scientific Reports developed a real-time global warming index. It shows that humans are responsible for 1°C global surface warming over the past 150 years – approximately 100% of the warming we’ve observed.
While 78% realize that humans could potentially slow global warming, only 5% of Americans believe we’ll be successful in doing so. A quarter of those surveyed think that we’ll fail because people are unwilling to change their behavior, and 48% said it’s unclear at this point whether we’ll take the necessary action.
Given the current state of affairs in the Trump administration, that pessimism is certainly justified. However, there are still reasons for hope, especially since the climate-denying Republican Party is beginning to lose its grip on power.

The Guardian once published a story that said aliens might invade the Earth because of global warming.
Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets that proved themselves during the 2016 campaign to be operatives of the DNC and intentional liars. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.

Ah, yes, another of those “the movement is picking up steam” articles I alluded to on another thread. Never before in the history of the human race have people been apprehensive in autumn over what the winter weather is going to be like or in springtime over how hot the summer is going to be. We should be grateful to articles such as this for raising our consciousness.
The only thing the U. S. Citizen has been battered by, has been an abusive press.
Too bad the U. S. Citizen doesn’t have countless agencies dedicated to help them through the abuse.

99% of those surveyed didn’t know that the amount of CO2 that man has produced amounts to just 0.00136% of the atmosphere- and don’t realize that such a small amount couldn’t possibly be capturing and holding and back radiating enough heat to warm the earth
Pour 4 five gallon pails of 100 degree water into an Olympic sized pool of 90 degree water and see what happens- nothing- no catastrophic warming- no meltdowns- nothing=- The hotter water reaches equilibrium almost instantly- Heck- even make the 4 five gallons of water cloudy so that it absorbs hotter air temperature from above- still not going to change the temp of pool- there simply isn’t enough of it
There is NO thick blanket of CO2 covering the earth folks- 0.00136% of the atmosphere is nowhere near enough to blanket the earth and trap heat in- At best- (and even hat is doubtful, as man’s 0.00136% is so small a number that it’ debatable how much ‘heat capturing’ cloud cover that amount alone can produce) it can only produce a very small amount of cloud cover to affect very small portions of the earth- localized isolated warming- at best- nowhere near enough to cause GLOBAL warming
Hell no they are not.
Guess the Guardian folks never ever realize that some of their arguments are more without logic than Hillary’s brain.
And that this is one of those arguments.

The weather is what it is. There's no controlling it except in Amazing Stories pulp fiction.
On top of that, the earth is a closed loop control system: More CO2 --> More trees --> Less CO2. That's the way The Designer made it.
