I certainly wouldn't describe it as such, assuming you mean that in a derogatory way. Because lots of fine, hard-working people live in trailer parks. My late uncle in Tennessee did for a time.

In any case, her smoking and (possibly) drinking while pregnant is the only definite problem(s) I can see. Anything else can potentially be explained in ways that won't reflex poorly on her, and in fact even be admirable. ie, she got the black eye while defending herself, her kids and her neighbor's kid from an attacker.
