Guess they never heard of eminent domain????US gov’t can buy it from under them...

They've heard of it and it is part of their plan. As it says in the excerpt of the article above:

"So we've purchased a plot of vacant land on the border and retained a law firm specializing in eminent domain to make it as time-consuming and expensive as possible for the wall to get built."

Simple. Build it right up to their property line on both sides...

Post signs for miles in each direction on each side of their property, that to facilitate crossing, all those doing so should make the crossing at that property.

Make sure to let them know that the LIBERAL supreme court judges think it’s a good idea to take land for the good of the nation

Vacant land on the border? I doubt it....who is going to police the land from drug smugglers...or maybe CAH wants to or is in the drug business...using the wall as an excuse to open the door wider to the drug cartels, human, OTM traffic....if in fact this is not fake news..............

Yeah, that doesn’t work, as many millionaires who didn’t want their property taken for a road have learned over the decades.

The government will never even deal with their lawyers, they’ll follow protocol. And since the company just bought the land, it will be trivially easy for the government to establish the price for the land, so they won’t even be able to argue mis-pricing.

(BTW, pricing issues don’t generally stop ED projects, the land is confiscated, and the only court case is held to decide how much money will actually be transfered).

Why couldn’t the government run the fence on the north side of the property while the suit festers?

Maybe they'd enjoy a little visit from the IRS too. Both the company and the owners...and those who bought tickets!
