Two capitalist groups at Kent State University invited student socialist groups on campus to a canned food face-off – hoping the two sides could briefly put their political beliefs aside for a common good.
The groups, Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) and Turning Point USA (TPUSA), sent out a joint invitation to two socialist groups, the Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) and Socialist Collective, ahead of a campus-wide canned food drive ending this Friday.
“We decided to engage in a friendly challenge in hopes to increase donations overall because a challenge is always a way to get people active and willing to participate, and to ease tensions that have been prevalent,” TPUSA chapter president, Kaitlin Bennett told Fox News.
But the socialist groups refused to take part in the “capitalists vs. socialists canned food drive,” saying they would not participate in an event with a group with “dangerous” views.
“While this event would benefit the public greatly,” the YDSA club said, they “do not work with organizations that promote/endorse figures who do promote sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, Zionism, or any other intolerant dangerous belief.”

Well well well, socialists don’t believe in charity either. What a surprise.
If socialist groups want food they take it
Perhaps these Socialists could not donate any food was due to a lack of a local zoo.
You know, Where socialist Venezuelans get their food.
And the government holds all the power of who can get what, when, and where.
Personally, I would have held a Venezuelan Thanksgiving for the Socialists - - handed out rolls of toilet paper with no reason to take a dump because no one had eaten a full meal in a week.

Socialists don’t have their own money.
The real reason is the Socialists take rather than give. Studies have proven that conservative voters are more generous with their charitable donations.
The real problem is they are selfish.
How very intolerant of them.

They prefer killers like Stalin, Mao, and the Kim’s. Don’t forget Castro, Che Guevara, the Sandinistas, and the entire Venezuelan government regimes.
Conservatives believe that we each have a personal obligation to help those who are in need.
Liberals believe that it is the responsibility of the government to take from those that liberals believe have too much and redistribute it to those that liberals believe should have it.
I was on an Air Guard convoy in Michigan just after the Kent State riot. When the hippies would pass us, they would flash us the ‘peace’ sign (and sometimes a middle fingar) and we would respond with a ‘4-0’ hand signal. When we were stopped at a rest area, a couple of long-haired freaks came up to me and asked what ‘4-0’ meant. When I said ‘National Guard 4, Kent State 0’, I thought he was going to have a meltdown. It took me at least 5 minutes to stop laughing.
They don’t like being exposed for the dumbasses that they are.
The concept of a “profit motive” is dangerous to people who know years in advance that they have nothing to offer an employer to make a business profitable.
