In those days private phone lines for kids were about as common as private jets and personal helicopters.


I didn’t have a private jet or a personal helicopter but I had the princess phone with my own line and so did a lot of my friends. The pro was that we didn’t comstsntly tie up the parents’ phone line. The con was it was easy for molesters to reach us.

Well the mother apparently messed up and stated she did not have a private line. Just the statement he “asked for my phone number” was so unbelievable I think credibility for her story died right there. They should have asked if she kept any of the text messages just to see if she would say she deleted them, lol.
