A Fifth Woman Accuses Senate Candidate Roy Moore of Sexual Misconduct
New York Times ^ | 11/13/17 | By SHERYL GAY STOLBERG and JONATHAN MARTIN

WASHINGTON — A fifth woman accused Roy S. Moore, the Republican Senate candidate in Alabama, on Monday of making sexual or romantic advances toward her when she was a teenager, as senior Republicans in Washington called for him to drop out of the race.

The new accuser, Beverly Young Nelson, told a news conference in New York that Mr. Moore attacked her when she was 16 and he was a prosecutor in Etowah County, Ala. Ms. Nelson was represented at the news conference by Gloria Allred, a New York lawyer who has championed victims of sexual harassment.

“I tried fighting him off, while yelling at him to stop, but instead of stopping, he began squeezing my neck attempting to force my head onto his crotch,” Ms. Nelson said in a statement she issued at the news conference. She said Mr. Moore warned her that “no one will believe you” if she told anyone about the encounter in his car.

Yes, I know, a polygraph is not considered evidence in a court of law, but having these women take one would at least make the media shut up if they failed it. They don’t dare.

Can the fraud be any more obvious?

Is she sure she was 16 and not 15? Cause if she was 15 there is no statue of limitations in Alabama and she could go ahead and file a police report. Of course there's that little thing that when you file a police report they kinda expect it to be the truth

These stories are so clearly made up it's silly.

The statue of limitations is very likely the reason this accuser has said she was 16. The SOL has been researched so the accuser is not pressured into filing a false report.

The report of the 14 year old was even worse. In that case she says he "asked for her phone number". Like 14 year olds had their own phone in the 70's, lol. Also do you think a 32 year old lawyer would be dumb enough to call the home of an under age girl knowing her parents would likely answer and then ask to speak to their daughter? You have got to be kidding. In those days private phone lines for kids were about as common as private jets and personal helicopters. In my opinion Moore should file suit against everyone involved in this story.

She’s right. We don’t believe her...most women voted for Bill and then Hillary, long after his history was known.

He said, she said, is always admissible < /sarcasm >

Age of consent is still 16 in Alabama. Consent, once given or even implied by non-resistance up to the point of actual squeamishness, kind of detracts from the purity of this woman’s motives.

There is no reliable evidence that the consent was ended, only a woman’s remorse after the fact.

Her mama was supposed to raise her better than that.

Exactly! If a guy tried to rape me, I sure wouldn’t be asking him to sign my yearbook 2 years later...and if she didn’t ask him to sign, where did he get the book? I hate pedophiles! I was victim of one. Roy Moore is not a pedophile! A true child abuser would not stop when told “no”. I don’t believe the two molester charges. I believe the dating and kissing may be true, but not the others 2! I’m still voting Moore!

When I see Gloria The Ambulance Chaser involved in a sex scandal then I know it was coordinated and a hit job. These five women are nothing but willing and we’ll paid political pawns of the Deep State.

He’s toast, not because he’s been proven guilty, but because the elite in Washington have decided since he beat Luther STrange, he must be taken down.

They have a number of women, probably most of them liars, like the group that falsely accused Trump, ready to “come out” over the next week or two. He won’t have time to defend against them all.

The Corfman story is starting to show some cracks, and it was only touching him through his underpants. Polls were showing that people were not buying it,they thought it was a hit job. They needed something even more damaging, so they found this women to talk about him pushing his head on to his crotch.

Poor guy, innocent or guilty, they are not letting Moore into the senate

Most of the lawyers in town would have been glad to take her case - if she ever had one.

A prosecutor makes lots of enemies.

Moore has been famous for years. Why now?

Till now, what was described was courtly Southern behavior. This encounter, if it happened, was not as gentlemanly.

...Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado, speaking in his role as chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said that if Mr. Moore wins the special election on Dec. 12, he should be expelled from the Senate, “because he does not meet the ethical and moral requirements of the United States Senate.”...

Name one moral and ethical member of the United States Senate.

Wonder why the NYT left out that Gloria Allred has a well established pattern of specializing in political sexual misconduct accusations against conservatives....and not just sexual misconduct cases in general....no actually, I don’t wonder.

Her claim is he locked it so she could not.

I have never seen a car you could not get out of unless it was a squad car. And you can’t drive those from the back seat.
