Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Monday called for GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore to "step aside," according to the Associated Press.
His comments come after a woman accused Moore of initiating sexual contact with her in 1979, when she was 14 and he was 32.
McConnell was asked if he believes the allegations to be true.
"I believe the women," he said.

Let us look at the timeline that says it all. I don’t believe in coincidences.
Former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore defeated incumbent Sen. Luther Strange in the Republican primary runoff election on September 26, 2017.
In October 2017, The New York Times and The New Yorker reported that dozens of women had accused Harvey Weinstein, a prominent American film producer, of sexual harassment, sexual assault, or rape. More than 80 women in the film industry subsequently accused Weinstein of such acts. Weinstein denied “any non-consensual sex”.
One might draw the conclusion that Weinstein was sacrificed to set up the predator meme against Moore.
Even better for the Obama wing of the party, the fall of Weinstein could also be used to eviscerate Hillary, a prominent friend and $-receiver of Weinstein.
Maybe Moore has some shady behavior in his past, though I reject the notion of guilt by accusation, but of course in politics, these things are timed to do the most damage, so that a vote must occur before the issue can be conclusively resolved one way or the other.
McConnell needs to step aside and get the putrid rot out of his seat....
Conservatives: McConnel should be replaced by Moore.
May whatever dirt the Swamp Masters have on McConnell be released SOON.

Turtle head is a good one to talk. He’s the one that should be stepping down. He has blatantly lied to and deceived his electorate and the American people. He has repeatedly interfered in various states’ elections just as he’s now doing in the Alabama senate race. McConnell should go. Now.
I stated the same thoughts last week, it was to soften the ground for this impending sh** show.

Has McConnell called for Senator Menendez (D-NJ) to resign? Aren’t the young women who accuse him of having sex with them as underage prostitute/sex slaves on Epstein Island to be believed too?
At this point they know Moore is going to win so all they can realistically do is — and it is what they are doing — is ratcheting up the political and public heat in an effort to get Moore to withdraw. That is the only way they can win is if they can get Moore to withdraw, and they know it.
That’s why we are seeing this coordinated Swamp attack. I know this is the RINO Swamp attack otherwise they would be demanding that Sen. Menendez immediately resign. This contrast in double standard hypocrisy is overwhelming.
I missed the trial, was he convicted?

In a strange reverse psychology sense, this is the strongest possible endorsement McConnell can give for Moore. Thank you Mitch!
