Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) said Thursday she has talked to Sen. Luther Strange (R-Ala.) about running a write-in campaign in the wake of an explosive new report that Roy Moore, the GOP candidate for Senate in Alabama, had inappropriate encounters with teenage girls.
Strange challenged and lost to Moore in the Republican primary for the open Alabama Senate seat. His office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Perhaps I’m just jaded, paranoid, or both, but this all seems like a very well coordinated and very well orchestrated attack by Rove, McConnell, and the GOPe.
You can smell the setup a mile away. Why the hell would Murkowski even concern herself with the race in Alabama? She’s Swamp all the way. That’s why! I’ll bet McTurtle is more responsible for this than the Democrats!

Well, it worked for her, so I guess she thinks Alabama is like Alaska and it will work for him. Strange things are going on lately in the swamp. Maybe they are beginning to wonder about those 100 sealed indictments.

Murkowski is the backup plan to deny Trump any legislative success if he somehow gets some combination of McCain, Collins, Flake, and Corker on board.
Moore needs to demand the Post explain more about how they mysteriously “heard” these allegations “at a Roy Moore event”. Not name their source necessarily, but enough to dispel the idea of political dirty trickery.
Moore has the megaphone to raise a stink loud enough to make the Post react.
Exactly. They probably had a master plan, with assignments for allegations to be released at specific times. Then McConnell and McCain released their bits about it, then this..... Expect more, probably about every 2 hours, something “new” will be released. The only thing missing is all of the MSM saying that this is a “dark” situation, like after DJT’s convention speech.
