Looks like Roy may have dated young women with the parents approval when he was 30, so they came up with the 14 year old to make the story worse. Moore was dating minors as a 30-year old? And he thought he could run for Senate?

That is the Achilles' Heel. Assuming for argument's sake that the 15 year old story is not true with respect to actions or age, if all he did was date girls that much younger than him while they were 15, 16, and 17 it is culturally disqualifying now from a political perspective.
