A racist message posted outside an Air Force Academy dorm in September was written by one of the alleged victims, the school confirmed Tuesday, casting blaring initial coverage of the incident -- which lauded the school superintendent's forceful reaction in an apparent bid to ding President Trump -- in a new light.
The student who wrote the slurs, which were discovered in September outside the rooms of five black students at an Air Force Academy dormitory in Colorado Springs, Colo., was no longer at the school, the Academy confirmed. A spokesman declined to say whether the student withdrew or was expelled, citing privacy laws. The student’s name was not released.
In a written statement Tuesday, the academy said: "We can confirm that one of the cadet candidates who was allegedly targeted by racist remarks written outside of their dorm room was actually responsible for the act. The individual admitted responsibility and this was validated by the investigation."

I KNEW IT! It stunk from the get-go. I don’t blame the commandant for saying the things he did. But he should have addressed and condemned the possibilty of a hoax scenario with the same fervor.
Now the question is, Will they kick this guy out of the Academy for doing this, or not? To me, this is not a prank, it’s a racist act in and of itself.
Chris Plante discussed this yesterday, and the authorities in charge, either the military or a school or a police officer or a judge, actually encourage this behavior through failure to adequately prosecute fake “hate crimes”.

I see it as an attempt at social manipulation within the Academy. I would argue that is not the ethical character the Air Force looks for in it’s cadets and use that as the means to discharge him from the Academy.
Anyone with an ounce of common sense could have seen this coming five seconds after the story broke, except that is, our SJW Superintendent. Apparently, Gen Silveria doesnt understand what the “culture of dignity and respect” that he preaches about looks like, and there should be no room for him at USAFA. He used his entire cadet wing to grandstand for his own publicity, accolades and YouTube moment, while basically calling 4000 cadets racists.
He knew full well that at most this was an isolated incident and more probably that it would turn out as anyone with an ounce of common sense could have guessed. A simple “we’ll do a full investigation and take swift and apprpropriate action if necessary” would have sufficed. Gen. Silveira is a disgrace and should be relieved of command for a variety of reasons, none of which will happen.
If you read the article you will discover that the hoaxer is no longer at the USAF academy. They don’t identify him or say if he was expelled or left voluntarily.
Remove that commandant. He is unfit. To jump to conclusions without waiting for the investigation shows he has no business there.
Yeah, I didn’t see it at first, but then I saw it in a different article. Glad he’s gone.
This story will make a tenth the news of the original story, thus the initial charge of racism white guilting will mostly stand.

And the superintendent was so hoping and praying the graffiti was true. Sorry General, PC always seems to melt away when the lights are turned on.

Simply put, the General is an ass.
Although this posturing, pompous general is a hero to the mainstream media and progressive leftists throughout the country he is clearly a DISGRACE to our nation. It’s pretty clear to me why this VIRTUE SIGNALLING pompousity was given his 1st, 2nd and 3rd star by Barack Obama.
Will he now assemble the entirety of the Academy’s Cadet Wing, have them stand at attention while he shouts that HOAXES meant to establish false VICTIMHOOD and divide the community are UNACCEPTABLE? His silence is overwhelming...and telling.
