Getting obvious what is going on here.

I agree with George Webb analysis when he says the current investigation into President Trump inadvertently is leading back to Uranium One . . . the current investigation is getting out of hand and now they are containing the damage.

That was kinda easy to see when one presidential campaign manager was currently doing business with the brother of the opposing presidential campaign manager.

Majority of companies listed in the Manafort complaint (e.g company B etc) are Podesta Companies. Where did the Uranium One fiasco hide some of their assets?

The last two AGs primary duties were to cover the crimes of the Obozo and his administration. AG Sessions is just flat refusing to do his job that he took the oath to do. Hey President Trump, you should not recuse yourself from Jeff Sessions pitiful job performance. You wouldn’t put up with a personal employee with such low performance. Why in the hell are you putting up with Jeff Sessions not doing his job. It stops with you Mr President, it’s time to replace AG Sessions. Or are you afraid of the Clintons and the deep state too? If you are, this country doesn’t need you either. Honor your oath and uphold the law, get a new Attorney General or you need to go too.

He just needs to resign. We need an effective Attorney General who is willing to uphold law and order. This guy is such a major disappointment. Hiding behind recusal is not something this country needs. Trump needs to “drain the swamp” and Jeff is obviously one of the alligators.

“Trump should fire this guy and appoint Judge Jeanine Pirro.”

Another Amen to that.

The second in command is...wait for it...Rod Rosenstein, who is IMPLICATED IN THE FREAKIN’ SCANDAL.

So the boss won’t do it, and the second in command is supposed to investigate his own illegal actions. Suuuuuuuure.

This is banana republic shit, point blank period.

Well said. Has there ever been a more sanctimonious, self-congratulatory bag of crushed azzholes than "true conservatives"? They, along with Jeffy the Keebler Elf, have to be drained.

Exactamundo. (Sir) Arthur Conan Doyle said it perfectly "Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth."

Knowing what we know of Trump, I assert it is impossible for him to be held hostage by Sessions, like some impotent wimp.

For one, Trumps personality indicates he simply wouldn't tolerate this kind of insubordination, even in matters of no consequence. To the contrary, the DOJ prosecution of treason is of utmost importance to Trump and the country.

For two, for those who hold that firing Sessions would leave Rosenstein in charge, well, he can be fired as well. What's that you say? The Senate has signaled they won't confirm another AG. I thought Trump was a genius, working 20 hours a day. What's to prevent him from devoting 8 hours per day to the AG slot? Why couldn't he hire Rudy et al as his personal consultant?

You see, as you work through the possibilities, and add in Trump's personality, background and road to the presidency, nothing that suggests Session is atually frustrating his goals & directions makes any sense. Add to the fact that deep state treason well & truly represents an existential threat to Trump, his family and the republic (as in, they'll eliminate him if he doesn't succeed), and well, it just doesn't add up.

Lastly, even if he was somehow in a checkmate situation, would someone like Trump publicly reveal this situation and embarrass himself in front of the entire world with these pathetic tweets? Who, never mind Trump, pathetically debases himself in such a fashion?

Nope, eliminate the impossible and what you're left holding is logic.

Does Trump have any horses he could appoint to the AG post?

If Sessions is fired I doubt the Senate will confirm a replacement.

So what? This one isn't doing anything that a dead man couldn't do.

This not the sort of thing that should be delegated.
If Sessions believes he cannot do the job he should resign.

The “so what” is that without an AG, the assistant now in charge of Russia will be the one to appoint new special counsel, and apparently he will not do so.

Sessions’ appointment was a disaster. He was a good senator, and now we will be lucky to get Moore in his place, if Moore doesn’t find a way to blow it.

Had Trump appointed ANYONE else for AG there would be no Russia collusion special counsel, and there would be special counsel for the other matters.
