President Trump's approval rating dropped to 38 percent in October, the lowest recorded amount of support from voters since he took office in January, according to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Sunday.

Voters are most unhappy with Trump's handling of the NFL players' protests, recovery efforts following Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, and the healthcare battle in Congress. Between 54 percent and 59 percent of people disapprove of Trump's work in those areas.

Currently, 48 percent of voters want a Democratic-controlled Congress and 41 percent want Republicans to maintain control of both chambers. The 2018 Senate and House elections are a little more than one year away.

Americans do like their underdogs. The media is so stupid and stuck in their idealology that they don’t realize they actually helped put Trump over the top. And they continue to this day. Every dang “bad for Trump” fake poll they push just has the opposite effect.

One year ago they were both reporting a Hillary presidency.
Taking it one step further, only 31% in the entire poll voted for Trump. Pretty sure he got more like 43% in the election. Shaping the news as they say.

Chris Mathews on meet the press acknowledged that 38% was pretty solid and won’t be dissuaded. Even so, show me the questions and the internals, percent of over-sampling of dems over republicans.....it’s normally 10-15% in their favor.

Bush bottomed out at 25%, whereas Obama hit 40%. Obama had the press slobber over him, whereas even Bush received much better coverage than Trump. Overall, I’d say Trump’s numbers are excellent, considering...
