News broke Friday night that Special Counsel Robert Mueller filed the first charges in his investigation into Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 election.
The nature of the charges are sealed by order of a federal judge.
The story was leaked to reporters at CNN
Pamela Brown, Evan Perez and Shimon Prokupecz authored the report.
As reported earlier today Evan Perez and Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson are colleagues and have authored several “news” reports together.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Fusion GPS, the firm behind the ‘Trump Dossier,’ called on a judge to block House investigators from accessing its bank records. Is Fusion GPS attempting to hide who paid for the ‘Trump Dossier’?
We now know that the Hillary campaign, the DNC and the FBI all funded the Fusion GPS propaganda outfit.
And Fusion GPS is linked closely to CNN.
It looks like CNN’s Evan Perez was tipped off by someone on the Special Counsel who leaked information to CNN on Friday.
The corruption in Washington and with the liberal elites is truly out of control.

Mueller taking out a preemptive insurance policy on himself by jumping to file charges as calls for his resignation were increasing.
Now he can claim that any action against him is to protect his victims from facing justice.
I’d say the link came from Fusion not Mueller. They know about it because their lawyers have been notified is a YUGE possibility

I think someone from Trump’s camp should leak that pardons (and legal expenses) are in the offing for anyone caught up in these ridiculous charges to counter Mueller’s gotcha strategy.

Based on the Perez-GPS connection, perhaps GPS did the leaking because they know that they are the ones being indicted as part of a deal. theCleaner at Conservative Treehouse has a theory that Mueller will charge GPS Fusion with something minor as a way of sealing all their records.
Someone certainly timed the leak for maximum anti-Trump benefit, since the left media can spend all weekend naming who might be indicted, the 50-year sentences they’ll get, whether this means the end of Trump, etc., with zero knowledge.
He is friends with people at Fusion GPS, they even coauthored some articles.

Not “just weird”. Fusion has been paying writers to spread their propaganda for years. Follow the money. When congress gets their bank records this will be revealed. Fusion used prominent writers to character assassinate conservatives and were paid large sums to do this. That Muller’s leak of the upcoming indictment of Democrat Manafort appears through fusion is not surprising.
Muller should have never accepted special counsel appointment, knowing his involvement in uranium one and Russia. He refused because this was a deep state set up. He will not recuse because Democrats never admit wrong doing they always deny. Just as a guilty murderer denies guilt right to the electric chair.

There wasn’t one single legal thing about that whole bankruptcy &U no prior bankruptcy under US laws EVER was structured like Obama did that one.
I would like that investigated just to see Obama go to prison for fraud. I see it all as a payback to the unions-—who were GIVEN the stock of the ‘new’ G M without putting in one single penny. All the prior stockholders had their investments stolen & hundreds of accounts payable vendors got stiffed. Some went out of business because of those losses.
